This place is on it's knees after only a few years.nnThe place is dirty. When I was there there were no tills open, only self scanners with one poor, hardworking team member helping customers.nnThe scanners themselves were mucky having not been cleaned for a while.nnMost of the fresh produce stands were empty and those that weren't had shrivelled fruit and veg. Another customer pulled open the banana drawer to get more out because the shelf stackers were too busy slacking off.nnSainsbury's needs to engage most of its staff to get off their proverbial derrière and get to work. They charge premium prices for an unacceptable level of service.nnRetail is hard and if they want to beat Aldi and Lidl they need to work harder. amd stop taking customers for granted.
The parking is the only good thing.nnStock levels are poor. Prices are poor and uncompetitive. Aldi price matches should be investigated as they are not like for like. The veg and salad is usually is poor condition and spoils within a day if in stock at all. It feels like the dirtiest Sainsbury's I've been in. Hard to quantify, but unclean.
Visited the store solely for the Argos of which is located inside, spent £17.50 on a Christmas tree and then went around the store and spent a further £10 on stationary.nnToday I have received a fine for £85 which is a joke, the sign clearly states that the parking is free if you spend a certain amount.nnSigns very unclear, no mention of any “voucher” on the self service. Totally shambolic and shameful.
Plenty of choice and good quality. Not always sufficient tills open but that is the same everywhere. Good offers via Nectar. Staff friendly and the toilets are kept clean. Free parking and easy access.
Great access,staff very helpful.wheelchair in store,and buggy available.both shop staff and the staff in Argos go over and beyond to help . especially if disabled.thank you.
