I bought a whole large salmon (pain a lot of money for that)and some other items from that supermarket at the till I also bought one of their large 60p bags and then I asked the lady if they could get me a bag for the salmon as I did not wanted it to leak on other food and she said no. So I said by law you should provide a bags for raw meat as it can cause food poisoning mixing it with other items and she said she will just call a supervisor so I said fine. So a lady called Pam was rood and said they don't provide bags like that so I said ok I'll have one of your 5p ones she didn't even make eye contact with me as she was walking away she said loudly to the cashier "charge her 5p!" Now it's is nothing to do with the money but it did make me feel like I am the one being unreasonable and asking them for a peace of moon ! It isn't the first time having awful experience there!

Convenient for access and parking, but range of products are limited. Lidl is close and Asda in Brighton has greater selection of goods

Staff at Sainsbury's Newhaven are always very helpful .I  find almost everything I want or need at the store.

Nice Sainsbury but wanted a cook pitza ...The lady at the counter had a very bad cold ...she should have worn a mask or not to be working at the food counter ...went to buy pitza somewhere else
