Only called for some lunch and bought a lovely 'meal deal' which we ate in a superb fenced garden with old trees and picnic benches within the store area. A delightful surprise en route. Very friendly staff member at the kiosk too.
Just come out of the store this evening. First time visiting this branch. Unfortunately, I encountered a problem on the tills as I didn’t know how to find my nectar card number using the app. I was hesitant to give it up as I had spent over £200 and was a hefty discount loss without the card. Whilst looking on my phone in what was a very quiet store at the time, a member of staff started unloading their shopping and asked very abruptly ‘do I need to look for another till’. Explaining that I didn’t know how to get my nectar number up, instead of helping, chose to huff and puff and mutter obscenities under her breath. I accept she has finished her shift but when sporting company attire, you are still a representation of that company with the objective to be polite; courteous and helpful at all times. After later hearing her discussing this with another member of staff, I had no option but to leave a review here. If the member of staff is unable to manager her frustration accordingly, perhaps Sainsburys can pay for anger management training to improve her skills. On the other hand, the lovely young lady on the till and the following customer were spot on and very courteous. It is worth mentioning that the situation could have been resolved immediately by offering me a new nectar card which I was only offered at the end of the situation and was unaware this was an option. Thank you.
Reasonable store, parking good and spaces are of reasonable size. No salad bar though, I’m sure they used to have that once before.
Won't set foot in this or any other Sainsbury's again. Nipped in to McDonalds one evening parked in a McDonalds spot. Their cameras are setup to track both McDonald's and Sainsbury's customers and if you exceed 20 minutes you get a PCN.
It's fine it's a supermarket what else can we say . One issue no swipe to get scanning gun .. but after a bit of fiddling we manage to get the scanner eventually
Security dan is amazing and needs telling, very knowledgeable about all sorts of items in the store
Staff friendly, items are not always well stocked though depending on the day you visit & sell by dates aren't always great but all in all good value for money.
Shelves are always empty and they deliberately move cheaper items to harder to reach areas so you buy the more expensive products.
If you visit this place twice in one day you might get a parking fine. They did sort mine out, but I had to go there specially. I'm not impressed.
Lovely peach ice tea. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff
