Tasted like an old school dinner from the 90s. Quite pricy but that is ultimately modern day Britain. I ate it but I probably wouldn’t return. One thing that annoyed me is that they spread the meat out despite being an average portion across the plate and then throw a large Yorkshire pudding on top which can restrict space on the plate to add extra bits! Possibly being a little trivial, however, it is quite obvious. Why not offer the Yorkshire after or allow the customer to self serve.
Me and my family came in today. The staff were very friendly and plentiful so we didn't wait long at all. The place itself is very nice environment, friendly, chilled and it has some nice artwork from TV shows on the wall. I originally went in for a carvery but looking at it you could tell the food had been there a while, the beef looked like leather which some family members mentioned when eating it so I opted for the cowboy burger which was very nice, just wished I'd read it was french fries instead of proper chips. Overall it's not the worst place to eat, the food wasn't disgusting nor spectacular but I prefer other food restaurants in Gosport for slightly less money. If I'm honest I wouldn't recommend it if you asked me. I'm sorry to the staff because as I said they were lovely. Cowboy burger pictured.
Good food and service, both Adam and Rossell have cooked us a nice fish/ scampi and chips, so thank you! As for staff all friendly and professional.
We had a Sunday roast, good value for money, we found the potatoes a bit too peppery and left some. More staff than the last time I visited, who were cheerful and attentive, particularly Adam who served us our carvery.nThe venue could do with some TLC, my seat had the 'leather' peeling off.nCheap and cheerful, will probably visit again.
Recently had a carvery here, and had left a five star review because it was amazing!nnSecond time visiting within the last two months and yet again another amazing meal, this time had the spicy beef burger and it was spot on! Catered to my changes I wanted as two burgers was to much for me, and removed salad but kept the rest, pulled pork, crispy onions, jalepenos and sauces.nCooked by Chef Sophie, so Sophie thank you very much. An incredible spicy burger!!
