My grandma has lived in the area for 24 years and has never stepped foot in this pub no fault of the pub itself, it was just a lil far from where she lived as we were packing up her house to move, we decided to have a meal out and we googled pubs in the area and this one came up. We looked at the menu and thought it looked fab so decided to give it a go... And we so lucky we did! As it was the best meal we've had in a LONG time! So much so, we have been back 4 times this week and have tried almost everything on the menu and let me tell you... EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS and absolutely fantastic prices for the amount food and quality you get!nClare mama bear has been so friendly and such a good laugh and Martin has been very kind and the banter has been great with the both of them nIt's such a shame that she's moving in the next few days or this would become our regular spot!nThank you again staff at The Cocked Hat, hopefully we will make the journey back for you're absolutely delectable dishes and sensational service nnFrom the twins and their grandma
The biggest thank you to Claire and her team at the Cocked Hat. We booked here for my Grandmothers wake, and we are so pleased we did. I highly recommend for any function, you will not be disappointed.nClaire the manager has been truly amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and made the whole process seamless and stress free.nThe spread that they put on was amazing and everyone was commenting on how good the food was.nThe area we had for the wake was perfect and Claire was so attentive during the whole time.nOnce again thank you so much
We will definitely be back! Ahead of choosing somewhere to book for a large family occasion we made a visit today.. A warm friendly feel good place, extra helpful genuinely happy to help staff that are always around.nOur food was EXCELLENT!...Our meals arrived swiftly and together, looked so good and tasted even better. Plenty of choice on the menu all of which are of fair price and avaliable. Usually I cant be bothered to leave any feedback good or bad, but on this occasion I made time to eave this here to highly recommend this pub/restaurant and commend the manger and workers. 10/10
Absolutely wonderful service for mine and my husbands wedding anniversary 29th June 2024 food was lovely dj was amazing should I ever need a party venue I know where I am coming really accommodating nothing was too much trouble
I haven't been here since before covid. Massive improvement. Excellent service. Fast and cooked well. Staff really friendly. Great value for money.
