I stayed here in 2019 and it was a great hostel. Just stayed again in June 2024 and it was bad. The staff working there are slow and clueless. They removed the towels from my room and when i asked for housekeeping to bring more it took a long time. The lift work less than half the time, had to use the stairs. Breakfast was a waste. Not many options. Was told breakfast starts at 7am but they were still setting up at 7:30am. The room has no AC and the fan is old and doesn't blow air. The bathroom shower has no separation so water gets everywhere. Will not stay here again!
Double en-suite room was perfect for what we needed. Basic but clean. No soap at the sink so you require your own and bed was a bit lumpy which knocks it down a star. Other guests can be heard through the walls being loud but thankfully we were tired enough to not care. We had a decent nights sleep and overall would stay again, especially for the price and location being so ideally close to elephant and castle underground!

Never had the privilege of being in.. it was entirely shut down as there was no rooms, they seem to have all and sundry, as you would find every kind of person you could thin of, and yeah just one customer care personnel attending to a lot of people, cued for almost 30mint to an hour to find out their rooms are already maxed out. Should be cool to eventually have an experience in the room.. you do the finding out
It was the worst experience I've had in a hostel, the rooms were dirty, the people were too unpleasant at night, the rooms smelled horrible, there were only suitcases of deliver people that stay there, the people who stayed there arrived between 12am and 5am, so you can not rest well, they came to make a lot of noise. I asked for a change of room and the answer was that there was no room or that I would have to pay more, actually the answer was: the other rooms are the same, sorry. The hostel staff seems that they are not paid enough because they do not make the slightest effort to check in and tell you where a room is. The bathrooms were too dirty. If you have the opportunity to stay there, don't take it.
