Service is very good and food was so delicious, mouth watering and freshly cooked.
Completely not my taste of curry , butter chicken taste like cinnamon chicken so as one of lamb curry I have also ordered. Some might like it but me being hungry and couldn’t eat my food was not as good experience. Personally wont be ordering again and I’m not saying food is bad it’s just not my taste.
The food from the restaurant itself is lovely and I could not fault it. However, what ruined it for us was the delivery driver. Immediately after placing the order I had a passive aggressive and hostile phone call from the delivery driver. In person he was very rude and also clearly trying to come across as intimidating. Would not order from this restaurant again solely down to the delivery drivers they hire. Again, this is a shame as the food was lovely. Very disappointed.
Abysmal, all the recent negative reviews on Google about this restaurant are accurate. Unfortunately I read them after I placed my order. There were 3 or 4 missing items yet they had the audacity to put a box of egg rice like sand and write “free egg rice on the house” what a joke. Th food which included a set meal of many items was sent out too early, was not fresh, all tasted of low quality. The worst thing of all was the lazy delivery driver who called my mobile "struggling'" to find my house, the whole time he was sat in the car, and my husband ended up out for more than 5 minutes - when he returned he said he was the one who had to open the driver's passenger door and take the food himself. Staff could all do with a lesson or 2 on customer service. DO NOT ORDER from this restaurant.
Takeaway ordered on Saturday 10th at 5:45..food did not arrive until 8:45..1 item Chicken Tikka Massalawas missing and 1 item spilt Paneer curry with an extra rice given to make up for the delay. Called to complain resturant very apologetic and offered a refund. No refund was given after 1 week and counting with two follow up emails ignored. The food that did arrive/in one piece was ok however was a starter, bread and rice between 2 so not really a proper meal. Very let down with the lack of follow up and will not be using again im afraid.
Even after almost 2 hours of waiting, a serious struggle to manage to even find a way to contact them without it going straight to voicemail and eventually a promising phone call, the order was still wrong. We got some extra bits for the long wait but missed out on one of the rices, the meat in the korma was wrong and the naan bread was missing the garlic and cheese. The poppadoms tasted like old fish oil and the meat was oddly dry. Very disappointed
Attentive service and very tasty food. A few more veg in the vegetable curry would have been nice, the same with the meat in the meat dishes, but overall a very pleasant evening. Parking: On street parking, but difficult to get a spot. Believe there is a car park a few roads away.
Appalling delivery and customer service. This appears to be an ongoing issue with Saagar. Ordered through deliveroo but order did not arrive. Neither myself or deliveroo staff able to contact the restaurant. No compensation or explanation offered. As a restaurant that is on deliveroo you would think delivery shouldn't be an issue. Avoid ordering from Saagar at all costs. I recommend that deliveroo take them off their app as they clearly do not qualify to be on there. A shame, as the one time I did manage to get food from there it was nice but not worth the blatant disrespect they obviously have for their customers and business partners
Pathetic service from this restaurant, do not order food online. Eta was 20 mins, called after 30mins and they said order takes another 30 mins and after waiting for more than an hour they cancelled the order. Neither the restaurant nor Uber Eats took any responsibility.
Accepted my order then cancelled. Running a same restaurant called kebab land they also cancelled with no explanation really bad for a first experience, i will not be ordering again .
