Compassion,Empathy and helpful. Louise was very good in advising and arranging  us seeing my wife Sheila in the chapel of rest, also keeping informing me each step of  the procedure . Lisa Taylor was excellent, and devoted in providing an 1st class perfect ceremony, which did meat my criteria for Sheila , as Our love, friendship and partnership were  the best thing we had over our 60 years together and our memories . 5 star Service from Lisa and she should be proud as I was, in giving Sheila a prefect send off.

Nursing home in stockport used this company for the first time and the experience was 1st glass. They were on time as planned and very profession providing dignity to the deceased. Well done S.P. Astley I will be recommending you in the future.

Our experience with Astleys in Denton was excellent from the minute I phoned them when my mum passed away the guys who came to collect my mum to take her to the funeral home were compassionate and professional. We then were looked after by Yvonne who was so helpful, kind and understanding and helped us organise the funeral she was always on the end of the phone and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend Astleys to anyone who has lost a loved one and will always remember their kindness.

Brilliant service, not only did they provide the funeral service which was everything we wanted they also went out of their way to constantly check we were okay and offer any help needed. Couldn't be happier with the service they provided. All information was clear and they were helpful, kind and caring all throughout. I highly recommend using S.P. Astley.

The staff are wonderful they are dignified, compassionate, friendly, supportive and professional they couldn't do enough for our family they were there for us all the way through out the process, even after the funeral the support and comfort they provided was excellent we could not speak highly enough of them. This company dealt with my mums funeral and on the day everything was great. There was a guy called Neil there that sorted everything out and made it run smoothly! After that it has been nothing but a disaster. I buried my mum in February and still now in November the discription that I gave to the funeral parlour is not on her grave and the grave was put back on over 4 month ago! I have chased and chased this situation constantly waiting for people to call me back and it's caused nothing but stress! The excuse I received was that the company changed hands as one of the partners left the company and no details was handed over. That doesn't explain the last 6 month of me chasing thus up. I have am now in the process of going down the road of having it done myself. I would defiantly not recommend this company for good aftercare!

Best funeral director's EVER. Really friendly staff who explain everything and helped with form's I didn't understand. Fingers crossed I don't have to use again  any time soon , but if I do, I will definitely use these. A HUGE THANK'S for all you did

Recently buried my mum and can't speak highly enough. They were friendly, compassionate and caring but also professional. Thank you astleys!

I couldn’t of asked for better customer service, they were caring, helpful, compassionate, professional, I knew just meeting them that my dad would be treated with Dignity and respect, and well looked after, nothing I ask for was to much trouble.
