Lillian Hough arranged the funeral for my beloved daughter, who died suddenly in December 2022. Lillian provided an excellent service, with professionalism and dignity provided for my daughter throughout. We were treated with the utmost respect and sensitivity as a family and are grateful for her services.
Lillian organised my Dads funeral with so much empathy and professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend using this funeral directors. Many thanks to Lillian and her team.
On Sunday 23rd of April we had booked a service at st Mary’s church Newton at 11am to place my aunts ashes in her plot we were kept waiting 15 mins in the church only to be told this company had “forgotten” to bring the ashes to the service one couple had a 180 mile round trip I also blame the vicar of st Mary’s for this farcical situation totally inept the pair of them you should be ashamed LILLIAN HOUGH AND ST MARYS CHURCH.. this now has to be rearranged

Father passed away recently and off the back of a friend's funeral that was carried out by Lillian and her staff decided to give them a go. It transpired to be a excellent choice, she struck the right balance between being professional but friendly with some good advice regarding coffins, flowers and a celebrant for the ceremony. Everything went smoothly and had comments from family and friends in regard to the professionalism of lillian and her staff. I know it's not like buying a car but if you need a recommendation for a undertaker then you won't go far wrong with Lillian and her staff.

Lillian Hough: Where do I begin lillian is one of the most caring lady I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I use to work in a nursing home and witnessed many funeral compaines that came in but Lillian company stood out. I observed Lillian come to collect a service user the repect and dignity i saw will stay with me forever they was so respectful they bowed before entering the room and the care i saw was outstanding so when my father in law passed i contacted lillian in arranging his funeral. The care from her collecting him to his funeral was next to none the day went perfect. I used lillian again for my husband and again the service she gave was oustanding such a kind and caring lady when you contacted the funeral directors lillian answered the phone no matter what time it was any questions you had it wasnt a problem to her. Massive round of applause to her staff also they all made a hard and difficult time a little easier. Also made a really good friend Thankyou from the bottom of my family's heart The Holden Family
Lillian is an incredible lady.she recently did my mum's funeral. She recommended the best minister and florist around! She was kind and caring throughout and very professional ! I highly recommend this lady, to take the stress out of a very traumatic time.!thank you lillian you are amazing !
Lillian and her staff were absolutely wonderful following the loss of my Dad - she arranged and organised everything to perfection, always returned phone calls personally, and was just a genuine lady. I can’t thank her enough for all she did for me and my family. Thank you Lillian.
Just want to say a massive thank you to Lillian and her lovely staff. Words can not explain how satisfied we all are for your professionalism from start to finish. You did us proud and my dad would of been over the moon at what you all did. thank you again. Highly recommend!
