Friendly staff and fresh food. The shop is always nice and clean. They're happy for you to phone through your order and then collect it. You can pay by cash or card. It's a takeaway not an eat-in establishment.Food: 5/5
Absolute rip off. I asked for sausage and chips and never got sausage and I asked for curry and chips and I got no curry sauce on it! Ripped me off about £4. This is the second time I've been disappointed with this place and the chips aren't that nice either. Paid £8.60 and not worth it. Never going back
Hands down, the BEST fish and chips I have eaten in my life. So good we went there twice in our one week holiday. My extremely fussy autistic daughters loved it too, and agreed it was amazing. If you visit Sunderland, take the time to go to Ryhope and don't let the unassuming exterior put you off. If you like fish and chips, you won't be disappointed, I promise. The staff are really lovely, too. I am going to holiday up there again next year just so I can have some fish and chips from this place, I'm not even joking, they're that good.
Lived in Ryhope 3 year now. Tried this on first day we moved in before covid and it was really bad. Gave it benefit of doubt today. There was no curry on portion of chips and no sausage in with curry and chips. Paid £8.60 For two chips one with curry. Shocking quality
Called in Friday tea time with mam a got burger and chips mam got cod bites and chips the cod bites had been standing and girl frying did burger in few minutes by night both me and mam were rolling floor with pains in stomach am 4 days later in pain mam only just starting feel better doctor said food poisoning won't be going back
Quick friendly service. Food tasted lovely, only downside dandelion and burdock was expensive £1.20 a can Food: 5/5
Cod bites shocking barely any fish in them and batter soggy. Friendly staff
I'm dropping a star because it's too pricey. having said that the food quality is good. they must use good oil or beef dripping for frying and the place is very clean. In my opinion it is overpriced though..
Great fish n chips . Place so bright and clean . Staff lovely Now my local
Beautiful fish bites and the best chips I’ve had in years, did not disappoint!! Delicious
