In the past year I’ve been getting back into golf, having recently moved to the area I don’t know many people. The club has been fantastic. Last year I had lessons with Adrian ‘Aidy’ to get my swing back in condition. Aidy is brilliant, a great coach and doesn’t overwhelm.  This year I’ve joined the club fully and first hole on the main course I got a par. Still got some work to do and continuing the lessons, but the support and efforts of the club/pro shop staff are awesome. Highly recommend this club for anyone new or getting back into the game.

Thank you so much to Gemma and the team for such an incredible wedding reception! Gemma was amazing throughout every stage of the planning process. She listened to everything we wanted, and was patient with our requesting prices for different food and drink packages. It very much felt like our day was tailored to us. Every meeting put our minds at ease. The menu tasting session in particular was excellent. On the day, we were so impressed with the level of service. All the elements from the different suppliers were weaved together seamlessly. The food was fantastic. We received so many compliments from guests about the food and how it was served quickly and in unison for each table. The rooms and breakfasts were just as great. Thank you for everything!

Great golf course  Team in pro shop and the whole club are very friendly  Golf course in good condition  Par 3 is a good challenge better than most par 3's  18 hole is excellent, the greens are fast and the contours will challenge your putting skills.  Food is great  Good luck and enjoy

1st time playing here, fantastic place with a very good clubhouse, good selection at the bar. The course was in very good condition with the greens running true and fast. Helpful staff in the pro shop.

I had my 50th birthday here and the whole experience was amazing. The staff were so accommodating and nothing was too much of a problem. The venue is amazing and the rooms to stay in are very luxurious. We had a wonderful breakfast the following morning in a private dining area. Such a wonderful party venue!!

Beautiful course and setting, and really challenging

We visited the Clubhouse as non players for a beer and possibly something to eat. The three members of staff behind the bar were unwelcoming, bad mannered and disinterested in us. For that reason, we didn’t order food. Not a please or thank you anywhere in sight. Only one ale available and we waited ten minutes for a drink as the pipes were being flushed through! I wondered if it was because we were walkers and not golfers or perhaps they just got out of the wrong side of the bed that morning. Whatever the reason, we would not return.

Despite half the country being underwater for the last week or so, both courses were in excellent condition. As is always the way here, we were met by polite, friendly and knowledgeable staff and we enjoyed our game very much.

Always friendly, not “clubby”, very good lunchtime food and drink, oh and 2 nice golf courses with great views.

Went for lunch on Monday and the food was delicious and considering how busy they were the service was quick and friendly
