Based in St Helens, Merseyside, we are not a corporate company but a Veterinary Hospital owned by 3 veterinary surgeons, offering professional veterinary and referral service both locally and nationally.

We are happy to help you locally with any queries, advice or support on veterinary services that you may require. Our fully qualified veterinary and nursing staff offer the highest level of medical and surgical skills from our Veterinary Hospital and Referral Centre in St.Helens so you can be assured that your pet will always be well cared for.

We have local branch surgeries for your convenience and late night/weekend opening times to help accommodate your busy lives.

Have been attending this Veterinary hospital with my cocker spaniels very challenging ear infections. I had a bad experience with my own vet, changed vets and was referred here as Sue Paterson is an expert. I was distressed at how poorly my little girl had become. Sue was superb. I felt confident from the beginning. My girl had a full day of extensive investigations following which a chat with Sue Left me informed and hopeful. 2 more visits and 1 ear is infection free and the other almost there. I have been treated exceptionally well from the friendly and reassuring reception staff to the wonderful kindness and expertise of Sue My dog has been happy coming here and I know we are both in the best of hands. Many thanks to all at Rutland house x

Fantastic vets. Wouldn't take my bunnies anywhere else. Staff are do helpful and caring. Molly is the best exotic vet.

I can not fault the consultant that my dog has been u der. He has been amazing!!! Also thank you to the exotic vet and nurse who helped me through a very hard time when my ferret fell ill and had to be put to sleep

Fantastic vets, we thought we had a potential emergency, a possible stroke from our dog, we rang them up for advice and they told us to bring our pooch in immediately and made space for an appointment. Bare in mind this was an hour before closing, the vet did all the necessary checks and thankfully it was nothing sinister. In my opinion their prices are slightly higher than other vets, however it is reflected in the length of time you get with the vet and the service you receive, so well worth paying the little extra to keep your fur baby protected and well.

Very friendly and good care. On arriving no one told me about cat waiting area so sat with dogs until someone noticed and move me. Would use again.
