Visited here with my girlfriend on a weekday. Despite it being a rainy day, the atmosphere inside is amazing. To see and experience the Russell-Cotes collection from around the world is definitely something I would recommend. It is a very welcoming museum and entry price is very reasonable! If you were to go on a good day, you would probably be able to see out of the windows looking down on the beach, pier and beautiful gardens. The entrance video is a must-watch, doesn’t matter how much knowledge you know about this museum you will be sure to know more by the end of it.

Magnificent, unusual , quirky building, stunning artefacts from around the world, superb paintings, all on display throughout the museum. Plenty of information, friendly and informative staff. It is a quiet retreat to walk around the lovely gardens. All in all, well worth a visit

A good place to go on a wet day in Bournemouth I don't get too excited about it but I know lots of people to go here think it was donated by wealthy family probably the Russell Cotes to the Bournemouth people lots of paintings old building not sure that kids are going to spend a lot of time here

On a short visit to Bournemouth poor weather made us seek indoor diversion. A lover of museums I persuaded my companions to try the Russel Cotes, had vaguely heard of it , and all were in agreement that it was an unmissable experience. From the friendly greeting, the good coffee the very informative tour guide & the magnificent house & artefacts we were literally blown away,Highlight if our trip.Do not miss.

Found this place by chance next to The Royal Bath Hotel in Bournemouth. Delightful place, informative and friendly staff.Spent a long time looking round at the artwork. Set in pretty gardens with views out to sea and the coastline.
