staff running low on empathy, compassion and understanding. i could tell they didn't take me seriously, want you to explain yourself to death and then they're still gonna tell you you're too low priority for them to deal with, they don't care if you're dealing with domestic abuse. it's the cynicism for me. can't you just take people in earnest? absolute timewaste. paying council tax is a complete swizzle because you don't get any services from it
Edit: I now understand why there's some crazy Christians reviewing this council as there are sometimes preachers in town centre. Personally even as a man of faith I wouldnt want people of my own religion being loud and obnoxious in the street. Other than that the council is very communicative still but can be inconsistent with public services like trash pick up. Some good hidden gem food spots, good charity shop finds and a great public library. So far it's just alright.nnAll of this aggressive christianity on the reviews makes me nervous moving to the area as a man of another faith. Otherwise staff are lovely over the phone and their website is very easy to use.
I want the council to upgrade the keith lucas park because it's rusty and only tiny updates to it so the council needs to upgrade it more add trees a zipline and more and more stuff to it so I'd give it a 3 star
Recently approached Rushmoor Borough Council for housing as an ex-servicemen. They shamefully rejected my application, without any commitment to the armed forces covenant. Considering how much they have financially benefited over the years from the presence of military bases and Aldershot boastfully claiming to be the home of the British Army. Shame on you RBC!
So many reviews regarding preaching their imaginary friend / enemy, depending on how you look at it.nnThe council doesn't do a bad job maintaining a very neglected, pretty ugly looking town.nnBut it's bloody expensive around here and I can't work out why.
