A real honest review of my experience in A&EnnReception are okay but could work on smiling and being a bit more compassionate.nnCharge Nurse and other nurses are brilliant and extremely kind.nnThe consultants I saw were great, at the time there was an a life threatening emergency and which understandably they had to attend but once they were finished they saw patients in A&E. The doctor diagnosed me and sent for further tests to get to the bottom of things. Great result and a week later feeling much better.nnWhat really grinds my gears, are people turning up to hospital not using the correct procedures. Firstly if it is life threatening call 999 or go to hospital! I want to make that clear but if it isn’t, contact your GP or NHS 111. I was in hospital for just over 8 hours, I witnessed the following:n- Someone with a splinter - discharged theirselves after 4 hoursn- Several other people discharging themselves, if you felt ill enough to attend hospital, then stay to be seen.nnIt waste time and ultimately money for the NHS, they need as much money as they can to continue our free health service but some people take this for granted. I’m not a health care professional and never have been but the best thing you can do, is call 111, visits a pharmacy or call your GP before attending. Of course, if it life threatening, then call for an ambulance or go to A&E.nnI went through the correct channels and so can you…nnOverall, great experience. Just a shame about others ruining our great National Health Service
Had a phenomenal experience when I stayed with the team at the Maternity Ward. They were so kind, friendly and went above and beyond. I was so impressed by their service and how they cared for me as I navigated labour and postnatal care for the first time. I also loved the catering and the food. The overall ward had exceptional service and shined for the NHS
Since going to the Royal Surrey in May 2025, I've had Dilations and OGDs of the Oseophagus as well as consultations with wonderful consultants. The staff are terrific, caring, and very friendly. The nurses , the consultants and doctors that I see and all the staff in the Endoscopy,Compton, Frensham, Ewhurst wards and the SDEC who are involved with my care are all a credit to the NHS. Well done, and many many thanks for everything your doing to make me feel better. I know I'm always receiving the best care when I attend the RSCH. The NHS staff at the Royal Surrey deserve a lot more credit for the fantastic job they do,the hours they put in to make us feel better is terrific, A big thank you to you all from me.
Absolutely amazing hospital with the most amazing set of nurses, staff, and doctors. I walked in with chest pain and was swiftly assessed in the A&E. They found out I had a small heart attack NSTEMI. I was quickly admitted and moved to the coronary care unit where all my test happened and I was kept under constant monitoring. The doctors referred me to Frimley for a angiogram/angioplasty. Angioplasty happens on Monday by yet another amazing team at Frimley. I was brought back and then discharged the following day.nnThe entire experience of admission, care, tests, ambulance, procedure, and the post care, discharge was seamless. That what makes it so good are the people at NHS. I felt cared for and in absolutely safe hands all through.nnYou guys are doing an absolutely brilliant job. Keep it up. A true service to the community.
