walked in to the cinema screen 2 and I was invited by the combination of putrid body odour and a bleach citrus smell, how the guy who cleaned the floor thought it would mask or even make the smell magically disappear was very mistaken. will not be coming back again 😷 Thank god for me putting on my Calvin Klein perfume before I left the house or else don't know how I would have even endured sitting through the adverts 😂

In such a small town where banks are closing etc, we still have a Cinema! Yeah it’s a bit tired but with lovely local people running it, the latest releases and very reasonable prices you can’t go wrong. You can keep your multiplex cinema complexes that cost a fortune, I love The Royal Cinema St Ives. Support local 👍🏻

Lovely staff and a nice small cinema. Could certainly do with a refurb though as it is very dated inside.

Do you remember the old saying of the golden age of cinema. "I'M GOING TO THE FLEA PIT" that was my impression assuming the rest of the areas are like the smelly, dirty and certainly unpleasant male toilets are anything to go by. I'm pleased that the lights were out before hand otherwise we may have walk and headed straight for the nearest decomination facility.

The once regal royal cinema is past its prime but still a nice little cinema part of the Merlin chain which has been upgrading it's theaters over the last few years so it's just a matter of time before its upgraded. It's cheap too!
