Loved the food in this place. Had the venison special and my partner had a lamb shank both of which we enjoyed. Has live music nights.

Really enjoyed this little Town. Hotel was unable to offer food as kitchens being refitted. I found The Royal Oak a really friendly pub offering good food and drink. Thank Guys service was excellent

Good pub food. Excellent specials  selection when we visited.  Overall rating limited 3.5 ~4 stars due to very limited wine and spirits selection. Would visit again. Special event nights eg valentine's night,  not attended to-date but look good.
