A beautiful pub in the most beautiful of settings of natural beauty located on the waters edge of the harbour. We were given the best table in the pub in so much as the view is stunning of the boats, wildlife and harbour. Food was excellent and served hot on hot plates. Mike was so helpful and attentive to our individual needs in liaison with Chef! He checked if the music volume was suitable? He checked in on us regularly to insure we were enjoying our meal and experience. We were all very happy with our three meals and excellent service by all the staff at The Royal Oak Pub
We had an excellent lunchtime dinner and experience today Tuesday. The food, in particular the Salmon & Vintage Cheddar Fish Cakes and Beef Rib Bourguinon with Mash, were very tasty and the beef was very tender. Had a side of mushrooms and a superb sticky toffee pudding. The chap who served us was excellent as was the rest of the staff we saw. No problem one of us had a nut allergy so was reassuring.
Delightful pub overlooking Langstone harbour. Lovely food at very reasonable prices and charming staff. Vegetarian mushroom and ale pie was delicious and so was the chocolate fondant dessert. Will definitely be back. Parking: There is parking along Langstone High Street but this gets full so you can park just across main road in lay-by by bus stop which is just a few minutes walk away for 3 hours.
Lovely old pub. The setting is fantastic and unique. The atmosphere is wonderful. We didn't eat there but have booked to do so for mothers dayService: 5/5

Stayed for a few nights. Enjoyed. It's a old hotel so don't expect brand new But friendly staff, food looked good but didn't eat their. Slept well and enjoyed a pub crawl around havant.Service: 4/5
Had lunch here today with my husband the food was excellent. The young man that bought our food out as we were sat in the garden was very friendly attentive and his customer service was brilliant. His name was Tyler so I hope this gets back to him. This pub is well worth a visit.Food: 5/5
Had a meal here through the week with my partner was lovely food and good prices. Lovely clean pub with a beautiful view. Staff very friendly. Was served by mikey who was a new member of staff. He was very friendly and made us feel welcome and had a good laugh with him. Definitely be returning. Thanks againFood: 5/5
The second time visiting this pub was sadly not as good as our first visit. Had to wait a while for our food order to be taken even though other ppl around us were having their orders taken and we felt the food was better quality on our first visit. We will return for another visit as I understand things can't be perfect every time.Food: 4/5
