The Royal Oak, North Leverton is my local so my rating is based on personal knowledge. The young landlady, Emma, as given blood, sweat and tears to keep this place going during covid and speaking as a professional chef retired she as done a remarkable job with limited resources. I am not rating a restaurant but a friendly pub that serves good food, we should all support our locals or they will be gone for ever.
Just moved into south leverton wanted somewhere in walking distance for Sunday Lunch, food was Brilliant and Value for money was spot on, very polite bartender and waitresses will visit again
During a time when pubs are closing down every day and society is becoming more insular, here is a pub which plays an important and necessary role at the heart of its community. The landlady has fostered excellent relationships with locals, resulting in a friendly clientele who are welcoming to visitors. Staff are lovely, there is an outstanding range of gin and tonic options, and delicious home-made pizzas are available at excellent value. If you are in the area then this is a pub well worth a visit
A nice pleasant Sunday lunch, in a lovely quaint village pub, with my grandson and his parents. With a really nice Xmas tree behind us. Nice atmosphere, and all that were eating, seemed to be enjoying their meals also. Thank you to the young ladies that served us. Very polite!
We broke down yesterday near this pub. We managed to get our car on their car park. The landlady, staff and punters where so helpful to us and our babies. They let us order some food in as they had stopped serving and gave us a place to wait for the break down company. I can't thank them enough. What could have been a hectic time was made easier thanks to their lovely hospitality!
Only the one pub here! However with live music and a selection of wines, beer and spirits to choose from, means it can be more than a one pint and go kinda place, despite slightly rural, the pub takes cards with cashback option which is great. Old fashioned pub which is still a attractive option.
Good village local. Friendly staff, good beer and food served between about 5 & 8 pm I think. cosy and pub quiz on a Monday evening and live band at times too.
Great personal service with a smile coupled with great beer and a lovely menu, we'll be back!
Friendly team, good priced food, lovely Sunday dinners! Good selection of ales and lagers.
Its a local pub for local people
