Situated on the bank of the Chesterfield canal, this quaint gastro pub is tastefully decorated. Food was better than expected, with generous servings. Order a main and choose 2 sides and 1 sauce to go with it. Steak was tender and juicy. Chicken was succulent and well marinated. Service was friendly and efficient (you didn't have to try and find a server)! Definitely recommend...

It's always been nice pub but it needs the right ownership and hopefully after our visit today which we we're welcomed in by the friendly owner into a nice and relaxed atmosphere, thing's can only improve, plus there menu seemed better, so we'll be looking forward to trying it out at a later date

Enjoyed a carvery this evening. Choice of meats, including rare beef, which made a lovely change. Fresh vegetables and a good plateful of food. Yummee gravy, chunky Yorkshires and crispy roast potatoes. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Very modern, clean and recently refurbished. Looking forward to returning to sample the grill menu one evening. Would recommend!

Everyone was so welcoming as soon as we walked through the door and made an effort with our little girl. The food was amazing, will definitely be visiting again :)
