We had afternoon Tea and it was amazing. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. The only thing that we didn't like was that you only received one drink with no refills.
Decent pub, with a good multi roomed interior, only 1 ale on at the time of my visit. Local opinion suggests it used to be better.
Festive gin afternoon tea was nice though we did have to wait a while. Pity jelly in the trifle wasn't set.
I visited here with a group to meet up with my daughter and family who were visiting from NZ. Couldn't of picked a better place. Food was really good, staff are amazing. Would highly recommend
Love our sunday roast. But would like mash potatoes and softer cooked veg. Also cauliflower cheese would be nice. But the meat melts in ya mouth gravy like home made. Staff amazing nothing too much trouble. Nice nice and friendly. Luv it. X
Lovely service & lovely meal. Exceptional vegan options. Good portion sizes and value for money. Clean facilities
Came today 13 April for afternoon tea and it was brilliant, lovely food with a good selection of sweet and savoury food will definitely come again thanks so much to all the staff
We came to The Royal Oak for afternoon tea with a group of friends. The food was amazing and definitely not over priced for what we had. It was £10 per person with a coffee or £15 per person with an alcoholic drink. The food was all freshly prepared and came out on wooden pizza paddle boards. We will be calling back again for this. The staff where nice to talk to and nothing was too much trouble. The venue itself is clean, tidy, very well decorated and looked after. Thank you for a great afternoon with our friends
Lovely cosy pub. The food was fantastic and the staff so caring. We had the Christmas menu and OMG the arancini were to die for!!!! Not many vegetarian options, but the beetroot salad was divine as well. It was world cup time when we went so it was packed. Absolutely recommend though even on a busy night
Lovely afternoon tea. Can't complain for £10pp.
