Parcel delivery driver didn’t ring my bell or knock on my door anddidn’t leave a card. I got a text saying they couldn’t deliver and had left a card saying they had left parcel at an address which doesn’t exist. I had to go to parcel office and speak to manager to get it sorted, when they came back with my parcel the delivery man lied to me about the mistake. This delivery service can’t be trusted.
The people who work here are great. I have always found them very helpful and in good humour. I appreciate the high level of customer service I receive when i visit here.
Our Mail is being delivered to other roads and having to be delivered to us Even though the delivery Address is clearly printed. We are receiving letters for other people and having to take it round to their homes. Can these people Read???
Not very user friendly. Opening times are poor for workers and no place to wait whilst queueing so end up getting wet in the rain.
Why have the opening hours changed? Used to be open until 8pm on a Thursday. However having left work early to get to the delivery office before their new closing time of 6pm, I was most displeased to discover that it was closed at 5.45pm. I now have to wait until Saturday to collect my parcel. Not good service!
I have read a few negative reviews on here - some associated with Post Speed and not this Delivery Centre. I have lived here now for three years and use this office regularly and find all dealings with all of their staff both friendly and professional...Well Done.
Without knocking our postman has just made his delivery by opening our front door and flinging parcel inside. Then left door open for our dog to get out, postman knocked a compost bin over on his way, spilling foul liquid over our shared pathway. I have tried ringing sorting office but nobody is answering ... About right. There was me thinking that his usual cut across our garden every morning was bad enough ... Unbelievable!
No wonder Royal Mail are struggling, collection times 7-9 four days a week Really going for customer service on Saturday, open till 12. Covid is an excuse, this is all about cost saving. If you don't look out for your customers, Royal Mail will be consigned to the history books.
St Annes sorting office is the most grossly incompetent service I have ever encountered. They failed on numerous occasions to redirect my mail despite several attempts to sort myself with customer services. Only the intervention of the local MP and the Chief Executive of Royal Mail ensured my mail was redirected. Aside from that they now deliver my mothers mail to wrong addresses and a a small parcel has now gone missing with a postman merely stating that he 'left it with a neighbour'. No note through the door and this is the only message left on RM system. A check of nearby neighbours revealed no parcel small packet had been left with them. Despite ringing the post office a few days later and being ensured of a phone call from a Manager, no one has rung. Several attempts over a 20 minute period until the ring tone stopped, and I cannot get through to them. I am climbing the walls with their incompetence and meanwhile I have a paid for a product which is now missing of which I am going to have to order again, but worry that RM will fail yet again to deliver - what on earth is going to solve this problem with St Annes Sorting Office?????
A recent parcel I priced weighing 425 grams was about £5:25 to send by royal mail. £2.98 by Hermes and they collected it from my door. I am finding most items I send fall into a tricky expensive bracket. Getting to the point where I don't bother working out the royal mail price. They are still good with letters. Though you have to be careful of size. Sister and Mother in Laws have a habit of putting the wrong postage on some garish big card. Hell!
