Great helpful service today. I sent a parcel to Western Australia. I'd miscalculated the weight and size and Kit who served me managed to save me about £40. Very impressed with my first visit.

No idea why people say Staff are rude, I ring up and enquire about sending gifts to Austria all the time, they go out of their way to help me with my package, help me set it all up and get it ready to be sent. Staff have always been nice to me. Only downside is if you come on the wrong day you could be waiting a while to get served, apart from that I think they do a good job with the amount of staff they have.

The staff and facilities (for a small Post Office) are adequate, even quite good. However, my gripe with this Post Office is that 3 times I have posted something 1st Class Recorded Delivery and it has taken over 7 working days for the post to be delivered. Not good enough under their 93% delivery target for 1st class signed for mail (their website quote not my own perception!). I posted 1 letter with a 2nd class stamp in the Post Box outside and that arrived quicker as I had a reply a day or 2 after the 1st class letter was signed for!! Odd that other Post Offices near where I work can manage to have their 1st class recorded mail delivered and signed for in less than 5 working days yet the 1 round the corner from house can not! Won't be using them again.
