bald man with glasses down nose could use some human kindness. I arrived 5 MINUTES after closing time after being stuck in traffic for about an hour. I knocked on the door and showed him my slip and ID to pick up my very very important parcel and he simply refused me. IT WAS 5 MINUTES. all it would of taken is 1!! 1 minute out of his time to help someone out!!! Cheers for that mate. (2 stars because one member of staff when I go in there is actually helpful and he doesn’t deserve 1 star)

the other "big players" are able to send you a text specifying the actual hour from & to that your parcel wil be deliivered on due date . with royal mail, it's down to pure luck if you ever get the parcel at all . NOT the fault of the foot soldiers - all down to sh1tty management . YOU know who YOU are . Google Reviews really should give a no-star option ,

Very friendly staff and a reliable service. Think people need to answer the door to begin with for their parcels if they're just going to whine about parking and long queues.

Royal Mail Southend-On-Sea Sorting Office is by far one of the worst unorganised, lazy & rude operation throughout the Essex Region & possibly considered the worst on the Group. I had several redirections set in place at an cost and respectfully numbered complaints regarding not receiving my redirection. Regardless my issue still continues till today's date of 27th June 2017. Terribly terrible service, I wish I could say to avoid this company but quite unfortunate local residents don't really have a choice...
