The lady taking the order was very angry and rude. She did not know what is gluten, and was not willing to cash upon the opportunity to learn from a customer. No card payment even in contact less card and corona times. The food was ok though, after I assertively made them cook rice and vegetables for me without soya sauce.. and hence managed a gf meal.
A huge disappointment. I've used this place before for fish and chips and it's been excellent. While buying, I'd often seen Chinese food being prepared and it looked really good. Finally ordered 7 Chinese dishes a few days ago........absolutely dreadful; everything was far too highly seasoned, too much MSG etc and the beef and chicken in the dishes was totally overcooked and virtually inedible. This was such a surprise and a huge disappointment. I would like to think something just went wrong on the night they were quite busy but I won't use them again except possibly for fish and chips.

The main courses chicken curry and sezchuan chicken but the salt and pepper ribs were just awful. Far too much salt, and after eating one I broke out with ulcers the next day. Also, no sauce. I would use gain but no starters!!!!!!!
If I could give this place no stars I would, my whole family was treated to a takeaway last night. Biggest mistake ever going here, we've all been up all night vomiting, dihorrea, cold sweats, dizziness and stomach cramps. Would not recommend anyone eating here unless you fancy being violently ill!!
Nope!!! Dislike paying £6.20 for yesterdays heated up fish supper. Fresh it would hv bn good. First time it was excellent but wont go back. Theyve blown it! Lovely smiling people but.......can they even get away with this!! Disappointed.
Food isn't as good as it was with the previous owners. The chips are greasy but so is all the deep fried food. The sweet and sour sauce is more like plum jam and very sickly.
Just had a beef chow mein and its the worst i have ever tasted noodles were greasy the beef had no taste wasnt proper beef there was peapods carrots onions peppers broccoli and few other things in it which werent cooked properly alot off vegatables were hard and wasnt even hot had few chow meins in my life but never with all those vegatables in it would never get it again ps was up all night being sick and was ill thursday
Good food, well worth it. Doesnt take debit/credit cards, cash only.
Usual chip shop and take away menu. Staff not overly friendly as it all seems to be more about getting you in and out and moving onto next customer rather than being sociable with regulars.
