A fantastic club for all occasions. The staff here are amazing and always make sure customers feel welcome. It’s clear from the atmosphere inside that the management and staff are passionate and determined to provide customer’s with the best experience possible. Sunday afternoons are great fun with DJ and Karaoke. The weekly Quiz Night is always popular. There’s plenty of live sport shown here too. The friendly relaxed atmosphere also means it’s an ideal place to meet up for a beer and a chat with your pals. Members of the club a rewarded for their support of the Royal British Legion with discounted drinks. That said the cost of a drink for non members is still very reasonable. All in all I think it’s a cracking little club. Well worth a visit if you’re passing!
Think it's rubbish that non membe, no brainer rs have to pay 50p extra on a pint when they should be wanting custom in the club seems to me that cake and coffee is more important than beer sales but I think that's all about being able to kill with one finger than wanting to be friendly with non paying non members , I won't be going again my money spends anywhere , pint of guiness in legion to a non member £4.80 pint of guiness in spoons3.20

The men's toilet always smells awful but don't let that put you off calling as it's a very relaxing place to visit and enjoy a drink amongst nice people who are very respectful and the staff are excellent. I can't help thinking that this place is missing a point by not serving food, it's ideally situated to serve food as it has its own targeted clientele but for whatever reason they refused to do food and as such the locals are forced to eat the low budget stuff at Wetherspoons in an atmosphere and environment they would prefer to avoid. Wake up British Legion and start providing lunch and your turnover will definitely benefit.
Great place conveniently located in the heat of Chapeltown with excellent access and transport links. Secure parking. Serving surrounding areas of High Green, Chapeltown, Burncross and Ecclesfield areas locally and further afield. Excellent friendly bar staff. Pleasant environment, great atmosphere, a very warm, welcoming and safe Members Club. Quality well kept drinks at good prices. What's not to like! Highly recommended.
Excellent place to drink, pleasant friendly bar staff, good beer & oh, ace pork pies!
Nice, quiet, clean venue. Good pint of John Smith's. Would certainly recommend for a social get together.
I can not praise the Legion too much, it's a great place to be. The staff are cheerful and polite and there is an excellent variety of beers, wines and spirits. A delightful place for ex-service personnel and families.
