I went to help volunteer with a recent project. The animals are adorable. The variety of plant species is awesome. The staff are so warm and welcoming to anyone and everyone with a variety of needs. I also used the café which is very fairly priced and the food was lovely. I'll definitely go again.
Nice, very small, good for kids. You can feed the goats and sheep. There are ducks, cages of few chickens and a couple of peacocks . On the other side there are some vegetables patches and small animals like guinea pigs, hamsters and snakes. The stables were empty, we couldn't fond any horse or pony, they may be somewhere else at that time. There's a farm shop as well which i didn't visit. But i guess if you want to have freshly picked vegetables or freshly laid eggs while living in a city; this is the perfect place to pop in. But if you are looking for a day out to spend on a proper big farm with long harvested fields, this is not the one.

Beautiful city city farm with a lot of animals, goats chicken, ducks, turkey... As with other CITY farm, there's is no admission.
Always a pleasure to visit! Visiting the animals brings me lots of joy and it's great to see the staff and volunteers caring so well for them. The organic kitchen garden is inspiring and the cafe has a good selection of reasonably priced food, with great meat free options. I like to buy local honey from there too. It's fantastic that the garden centre has been pioneering peat free for many years, I have bought plenty of plants there and am very pleased its still operating. Heeley City Farm also provides lots of regular groups and puts on great events, so I count myself very lucky to live close by so I can enjoy and support this great community asset.
Worth a visit to see a variety of animals some that are rare breeds , cafe serves excellent food offering a variety of vegan options.
Me and my daughter absolutely love this place! The staff are helpful and kind, and the animals are so cute Especially the resident cats Digger and Mouse
A really lovely farm. The work they do for the community is excellent and it’s so clear how much love and thought is put into every single aspect. Animals are all kept in great conditions and are obviously well cared for. We visited as my partner is a film student who the farm was kindly letting shoot there but definitely want to return as soon as possible as I really enjoyed seeing all the animals. It’s really very special.
Really great facility for children and the community. Animals well looked after. Lots of variety to see. Children 2 under 5s really enjoyed the visit - especially seeing the piglets! Would be good to have a little more money spent to 'smarten' it up a bit eg the play area - I'm sure donations would be very welcome. Recommended for families & general public alike.
