Great service, friendly and helpful staff who go the extra mile. I had a fairly complex issue regarding the "brand" of medication required. Having been rudely waved away by other local pharmacies who didnt want the hassle Rowlands listened patiently and resolved the issue which in turn had a profound impact on my health. Many and special thanks to Eve and Jo plus any other staff involved. Highly recommended.
Lovely helpful staff and put me at my ease. They sorted me out and my little boys for various problems after the other local pharmacy had just shrugged! Thank you all!
Very happy with the service and advice given. I had an infected toe and went for advice and they immediately told he to seek medical attention. Turns out it was much more serious than I had thought and could have lost my toe. I use the pharmacy regularly and they are always helpful and courteous staff working in a stressful job; lots of bad reviews on here but it's a pharmacy and obviously going to be busy as not many in the area.
Pretty awful. I work long hours so usually only have time to pick up prescriptions that unfortunately get sent here in the morning, or sometimes lunch. Arrive today 15 mins after advertised opening time and the place is shut… not the first time this happens incl. their mid-day break. Switching to somewhere more reliable, even if further away.
Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Necessary meds not in stock though.
I went there yesterday because I urgently needed some medication. I arrived at the door 20 minutes before closing time 2pm to find they were shutting down. The lady looked at me and said we close early and didn't even ask if I needed something. I would give them zero starts for this if I could. With covid cases growing again it is just unprofessional and unhetical to behave like that.
I can't speak for every staff member. I had a really bad experience with staff member, she told me to close the door whilst their was other people behind of me like it's my job, and gave me an order to do so whilst tending to my newborn in the pram. Quoting " I asked you to close the door! ". Whilst there was someone standing by the door, so she wanted me to slam the door in someone's face. I don't work in the shop. I am a customer. Who went to pick up my new born baby prescription. Her behaviour was absolutely horrendous knowingly see that I have a newborn she saw me as a target and decided to behave aggressive. Whilst there was other customers behind me. This behaviour not does not at all stand for "duty of care" being an pharmacist you'd expect some decorum it being under the health care system. She was so rude and belittling. NEVER have I ever been treated so poorly by a staff member as a customer before. They need to have staff training or a different management learn how to deal with customers better as they are apart of a community.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. This pharmacy inefficient and unprofessional. They made me and children wait for 45 mins in and outside for sons prescription then to tell me they don't have stock why does it take 30mins for a registered chemist to stock check? The woman had empathy telling me she will call the GP in the morning to change the prescription. As it my son didn't need the antibiotics. Unprofessional is an understatement
Arrived to a closed shutter and a sign saying they had no pharmacist. What a joke. Not even open to purchase non-prescription items. Every time I come here I get more and more infuriated at how shambolic this place is. Doctor sent the prescription here, they repeatedly say they don't have it, won't talk to you when you call, tell you to call back again and again, gets to the very last day when the prescription is needed and they say they don't have it after saying they did have it on the phone. Get to the shop there's a huge queue and then they can't find the name on the system despite all the phone calls. How they can be so bad at managing prescriptions when it's literally all they do is beyond me. The owner/manager should be ashamed of themselves.
As I have a chronic health condition, and mental health issues I am being visiting this pharmacy constantly for more than three years, and in all this time I am being over and over treated with very little, if any, consideration and respect. I mostly need the same medication and even something as apparently easy as that can be misunderstood and can become an issue for them. But if in any case I am in need of any help I am often dismissed or plainly ignored and asked to come back later never specified a time, when everything start over and over again! I believe than some of the people who work there can be helpful and considerate, but the attitude of some other is so toxic and dehumanising that I am starting to have anxiety only at the though of been in need to contact/visit their establishment!
