The doctors at this surgery are very nice, but the kafkaesque system through which you have to go through makes you wish whatever illness or ailment is bothering you had already killed you. Besides the doctors (which again, are very nice every time I actually get to see them) the staff are some of the meanest and unprofessional people I have encountered not only in a medical system, but occasionally worse than for example retail workers (who at least fear being fired if they don't act according to their position). This is not only my opinion, but the opinion of many other students on campus. The people at the front desk have been known to repeatedly make fun of foreign people's names, or some people's conditions, to ignore you when you are waiting and many other things, including straight up lying (for example telling me over the phone that they have never had same-day appointments, even if you call at 9am when they open, which they did for two years). This would not be as big of a problem if you could communicate with the surgery online, such as booking appointments, or seeing your records, or seeing results of tests and whatnot, but this surgery seems to be stuck in a time when the internet was only available to a small segment of the population and the best ways to communicate at a long distance were phones, letters and fax. Easy proof for that is their website. They are apparently trying to implement an online system for booking appointments, but in the same way as they did in the last 3 years I was a patient here, they seem to not really get this "internet thing", so even though they have my email address, I need to go to their reception to get my login details. Lovely.

Fantastic service. Doctors are great. Always ready to help you. Cannot fault them. Never a problem getting an appointment.
