My children left in tears and asking to never go there again yet they loved soft play. We turned up here with a baby, 2 year old and 3 year old. We ordered food and this came out extremely late and was dry and tasteless. Our 2 children were playing in the soft play when we were about to call them for their food. All of a sudden we couldn’t see them but we could hear them crying. My partner ran into the soft play to find them whilst I walked around the outside with baby in arms. At the bottom of the slide sat some older children with big balls they wedged up the slide then sat leaning against them. Our young children had gone down the slide and come to an abrupt stop into these huge balls. Other kids were still going down the slide not knowing the situation so our children were getting squished. We had to scream And shout at these kids to get them to move to save our little ones I’m not violent but they’re lucky they moved when they did. Our two children were in absolute hysterics, in pain and crying. The kids laughed and their parents didn’t give two hoots. We complained to the woman behind the till after standing there shouting for someone’s attention for 5 minutes. She said there was nothing she could do as there is no age limit to soft play and would offer a small amount of money off for next time. We did not accept this offer of course as our children did not want to go there again, understandably. We left there £40 lighter with empty tummies, heart broken children and ended up going straight home to comfort our little ones. Absolutely appalled at the parents and staff. Didn’t care. I’d recommend getting rid of those big round balls as they’re the perfect size to block the tubed slide! This no doubt will keep happening
Attended on a Saturday where it was extremely busy and only 2 staff were working, we ordered a kids nugget meal which came with 3 hard nuggets and hard chips, no beans because they said they don’t come with the meal anymore.for the price you should get beans…. the food has gone very downhill. There needs to be more than 2 staff on weekends where it is busy. Also it was freezing cold inside i actually kept my coat on because it was that cold, overall the children had a lovely play with the toys but something needs to be done about the food and coldness.
Pleasant afternoon with great grand children. Large range of equipment, spacious, parking, food available.
Visited round the twist on the 17th of December, Upon arrival we placed a food order & waited an extremely long time. When it finally did arrive , the food was not edible at all, where I did actually leave this. When one of the younger members of staff came to remove the plates away which they were still full, a middle aged women who I believe her name is Angela, came running across and spoke very rude to the younger members of staff, saying that we had not finished our food, and when we said we had finished , we did not get asked why you hadn’t eaten any of it, or even offered a refund. There was also other customers who had only just received their food at the end of the session, were getting asked to leave when they had only just received their order. The customer service has massively gone down hill lately. They don’t seem to have time for customers but time to go out for a cigarette. Play area itself I can’t fault, it’s very entertaining for the children, however does lack cleanliness at certain parts of the toilets.
Would not recommend this soft play at all. It was disgusting, the equipment, floor, tables were all dirty looking. The staff were perfectly nice but it was clearly understaffed. Took almost 15 mins for me to be order, 40 mins to get the drinks after the food arrived and asking twice. The kids lunchbox came on greasy looking plates and the fries were solid. I'd seen them reusing teaspoons that had just been randomly left on the counter to make fresh drinks and my Husband's diet Pepsi was that awful I had to ask them to replace it with a coffee. The coffee cup which was crusty! Its a reall shame because the space and some of the equipment show a lot of potential but I won't be going again.
Hi recently had my daughters 7th birthday party here The staff was soooo wonderful, very kind… generous and enthusiastic.. special mention to becky .. the coffee lady and the two girls who kept the children entertained on the dance floor with their wonderful moves Thank you so much
Nerf gun party for my 10 year old son. He loved it, staff were great-made the party extra fun and organised. Thank you
Great place to entertain and tire the little ones out as well as a good exscuse to relive your childhood days and losen them joints , Great variety of food and activitys
This place is an absolute nightmare and it’s a shame because the play area itself is a good play! It’s RIDICULOUSLY over priced for very low end food and drink, you also have to pay for the adult when it’s already the highest price around! £2.75 for a normal coffee out the jar, £5 something for 3 nuggets and a few chips and waited nearly two for it when it wasn’t even busy and the wait at the coffee bar for drinks and snacks was also ridiculously long! The girls were nice though but as someone else said, if they want the custom they used to have then they need to up their game
Play area is excellent, toilets are clean, staff friendly and helpful... but food is very poor, the kids 'menu' lacked healthy choices or even any fresh food. Only frozen Disappointingly, It was dried up and burnt when it came. 'Smiley faces' were almost black, the chicken nuggets were hard and the sweetcorn were all shriveled.
