I would like to sincerely thank the staff involved in taking care of my cat, my gorgeous sweet girl Tilly who we sadly had to say goodbye to, due to a recent health issue. Tilly was 15 and a much loved part of our family. I have been blown away with the service at Rossendale pet crematorium, recommended by my vets, I chose to have an individual cremation and her ashes returned to me. Thank you for your kindness, care and dignity shown not only to Tilly but myself too at such a heart breaking time
We lost our little Minnie 26 August age 20 after two sad visits to the vets. We could not see her suffer no more . A friend recommended Rossendale Pet Crem there has he took his lovely dog Shep there. We took her in a lovely box into there lovely chapel . And said a few words and received the casket back next day . The absolute devastation it has caused in losing her has been unbelievable rip little one sleep tight now .
I would just like to say a massive thank-you for taking care of my beautiful girl Suki who passed away recently. I was blown away with everything and felt comforted knowing she was taken care of lovingly and with the respect she deserved thanks once again Andrew Flinn.
We recently just laid our 12year old cat Muffin to rest at this beautiful cemetery. The staff here are so lovely, sympathetic and helpful. On Monday 31st October we brought Muffin to Rossendale Pet Cemetery where they looked after her till her funeral was on Wednesday 2nd November. We wanted to lay her to rest ourselves, and place the soil on top of her too. They allowed us to do what we wished to give our beloved cat the best send off. The coffin which they made was perfect. She looked like sleeping beauty. We wanted to wrap her up in her favourite blanket which she used to sleep on, and the lady I forgot her name wrapped her up all snuggled up and it was rather emotional as she loved it. We reserved 4 other plots for our other cats so when their time comes they can all lay to rest together. We also got Muffins pawprint imprinted and it is just perfect as there is so much detail in the imprint which reminds us of her. Laying her to rest has brought us comfort and closure knowing she is safe and surrounded by birds and nature which she loved. They allowed us spend as much time with her as we could before her funeral which not words can explain how much we appreciate this. Thank you so much for the excellent service everything was perfect for our little princess.
Why do we become so attached to our pets? Is it perhaps that, no matter what, they always give us their unconditional love. When it was time to let my Stinky Winko go he always used to break very smelly wind when visitors arrived! I, like so many pet owner was absolutely devastated. It completely broke my heart and his twin is still grieving very badly. But this is a happy ending because on the day I was to collect his ashes I received a message from a past pupil who is very dear to me. It read "How are you? I was sorry about your Stinky, but when I saw the label and knew it was your cat I cremated him." I had no idea he worked at the Pet Crematorium and just to have the knowledge that my lovely Stinky was in loving hands right to the last filled my heart with utter joy, and eased my pain so much. So now Stinky sits, in the beautiful box provided by the wonderful crematorium, on his favourite windowsill in the sunshine and will always be with us. Bless you all X
My little Rosie rabbit came to you in April or May 2019. I was utterly heartbroken and the only thing that got me through the initial loss which had happened in a very clinical setting, and in a rush, was knowing she was coming to you, and I would see her and she would be peaceful. Walking into the room she was in it felt so calm and I melted into the room and it was just about being there, and everything else disappeared. She was placed like she was sleeping and her eyes were closed which I was glad about. She was wrapped and all the vet stuff from her surgery and attempts at saving her wasn’t what I saw as you made her look so beautiful. I hugged her on her wicker flat basket and after some time with her and kissing her, I said goodbye. As I was coming out to say I was ready to hand her away, I was offered by the man that would be completing her cremation to walk her from the building myself in her wicker bed wrapped up, through the grounds to where she would be cremated. It was sunny and crisp and green everywhere, and little birds tweeting. It was the most dignified goodbye for my Rosie and walking with her to her next place was something I didn’t know I needed and she needed. I’m still not over her death and it took all this time to want to write this, but when I think to seeing her last, it isn’t watching her struggle to breathe before she went at the vets full of shaved patches of fur and tubes, when she was last alive, it’s walking through your grounds in the sun with tears on my cheeks and Rosie peaceful in my arms. I can’t remember how much this cost at all, but there is not a price for what you gave me and her. Thank you
My baby passed on 10 July 21 just shy of 16 i was able to visit him and found this extremely comforting and really helped with my grieving process. I gave a toy and lots of photos he beautifully presented in a bed and looked peaceful. I recieved his ashes back in a beautiful wooden casket with gold trimmings around the side and gold pawprints on top. His pawprint keepsake in plaster is well worth it and the fur keepsake too. I asked for some ashes in a separate bag so I could scatter them too. This was no problem and tomorrow for his 16th Birthday I'm taking him to beach or park. Couldn't fault them Thank you
Loosing my best friend a week ago has been the most painful experience of my life. I just got her ashes back and it’s made me feel so much better. They came in a beautiful bag and box with a lovely card and scatter tube. Thanks so much to all the staff for your care of her cremation.
My beautiful boy Shih-tzu called Zindebad passed away on the 24.5.2021 who has been my soul mate from when he was a pup. This has been a very bad experience for me at loosing my pet as i had him for 10 years which makes him 70 years old. I received today 25.5.2021 my Zindebad ashes, it came in a lovely carrier bag with a lovely card with his ashes in a scatter tube, very professional service. Thank you very much for all you have done & to the staff for the care of my dog Zindebad ashes in which i received today at 2.25 pm great job thank you all god Bless
We lost our cat Jessie at the end of June and were recommended Rossendale Pet Crematorium by the vet. The entire process was handled discretely and with the utmost care - the staff were very patient and compassionate with us during such a difficult time and we had Jessie back with us in a matter of days. Thank you for making this a little easier for us to cope with.
