Absolutely awful place - the 'dog run' they were in had days-old dog poo and masses of stinging nettles which one of my dogs walked through and stung his paws. Even the office is a disgusting mess which says it all. When we called in two days later to visit the owner refused yes, really! to let us see them and when we questioned her and insisted it was because the mess still hadn't been cleaned up. A very unpleasant experience and if you love your dogs then steer clear! My dogs are now at St Giles - more expensive, yes, but it is well worth it as the animals are really cared for and the hygiene is faultless.
Third time my girls cats have stayed, They always come back in really good condition, nice plump bellies and well groomed fur, Already booked for next year, Its nice to know they enjoy their holiday too.
What a fantastic, caring place. We have a dog who is rather challenging and they have shown nothing but kindness and patience. They really understand dogs and have shared advice with us which has made an enormous difference to our dog's health and wellbeing and behaviour. Bob wags his tail when he realises where he's going - the opposite of his reaction to his previous kennel!
They "don't do cats anymore" - as I was abruptly told. Great, I'll be taking mine elsewhere then!
Pets are really looked after, only downside to the cattery is that the cats don't have an option to go outside.
