Perfect greasy spoon caf. Lovely cuppa and a real good cheesy omelette breakfast that was very much big enough to fill me up till lunch. Nice friendly folks too.
Went here for our breakfast whilst on holiday. Refused to pay the overpriced Holiday Inn breakfast. Food was brilliant, very good value and quality was also good. Service was excellent with food freshly prepared and brought straight to our table. Very reasonable priced and just on the bus route into Edinburgh City centre. Would definitely recommend it and would definitely go back.
What a lovely place with friendly staff. Working in the area and popped in I've been everyday since this week. Although my black pudding and bean butty was missing bacon this morning and I left my bottle of water, Great start to the day yeah I know.. I'll be back tomorrow morning bright eyed and bushy tailed ready for a fabulous breaky and the most beautiful coffee
Pretty much the usual fillings for sandwiches etc., but everything was fresh, the coffee was a lovely blend and the tray bake desserts were gorgeous! I'd recommend this wee place for lunch.Food: 4/5

Love this café. Tasty food, good breakfasts, friendly prompt service and great prices. Plenty of choice for vegetarians. Cheese omelette for breakfast kept my husband and me full all day. Latte is one of the best around.
I've sat in once or twice,, but food is what you expect and food is what you'll get ,, I find it a little expensive but not overly expensive they have bills to pay like everyone else but they are nice people who own it ,, the girl loves banter Vegetarian options: There is something for everyone Kid-friendliness: As above something for everyone Parking: There has been a big cycle lane and other work been done along the road,, parking is difficult but not impossible Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for everyone Dietary restrictions: Something for everyone
Small place, not great coffee, but the breakfasts are great. You can get some solid Scottish breakfast at a great price. Also the fish and chips I saw were much cheaper than you'd usually find them in Edinburgh, it's just a pity it's not open in the evening. The people working there were really friendly, too. They were patient with us when we asked to change some items from the fixed menus and were just really welcoming.
Had breakfast here before heading to murrayfeild. Both food and service were fantastic. We wil return.Food: 5/5
Great food, generous portions, delightful staff! If I lived in Edinbrough, I’d be a regular!
