Loved it! Everything we had was great, I loved the smoked salmon brioche and the egg sandwich. Although the pancake wasn't for me, everyone else really enjoyed it, the pancake itself tasted great and had amazing texture but the chocolate on it wasn't my taste. I loved the interior and the vibes of the restaurant. All the staff were great and helpful especially Lucia who was very nice! Definitely recommend!
I have been waiting to go to Sunday in Brooklyn for months, and it really didn't disappoint. Visually, it's absolutely stunning and yet has a breezy and friendly atmosphere. The staff were also very helpful and efficient. The Asparagus salad was delicious, as was the carrot juice, but the Sunday Pancake was the star of the show. A single is the perfect portion for two people because of how rich the praline sauce is, but the sponginess of the pancake and the iced latte enabled me to eat 75% of it, while my friend finished the rest. It was one of the best brunches I've had in a while and deserving of the hype.
The best brunch and cocktails! We loved it so much that we came twice during our trip to London. The service and food were five star, and the overall atmosphere is worth the wait if you cannot get a reservation. The first time we came for brunch, we started with the avocado toast which was easily one of the tastiest avocado toasts I have ever tried. The Shakshuka and Egg Sandwich were filling and had the right amount of flavor and seasoning. We came back a second time for cocktails which were AMAZING.
I came for the pancake and stayed for the atmosphere and chicken sandwich. My table shared the pancake, which was nice but not what I expected as it was more like a normal cake than a pancake and I'm glad I didn't order it as a main. My spicy chicken sandwich was amazing and the staff were lovely. The scented wet wipes at the end of the meal were a nice touch. I definitely want to come again.
Their pancakes are INSANE!! We ordered way too much food but everything else was just incomparable to the pancake, they were all average. I couldn’t actually taste the cheddar in the egg and also the eggs and potatoes were cold when served not sure if this is intentional!. The pancakes were heavenly, not overly sweet, but you will definitely need to share this between friends! Coffee was average!
A group of colleagues and I, met for lunch at this wonderful restaurant. It turned out to be more than just a lunch but more of a total amazing experience. From the moment we first arrived and were greeted by warm, friendly and efficient service that remained throughout right until the final reluctant moment of leaving . Food was sumptuous and there were a splendid variety of cocktails. I was particularly delighted as a vegetarian given the quality and variety of food available to me. Sunvehre, the restaurant owner clearly expects the highest standards from his staff and models this behaviour. I highly recommend the Champagne problems cocktail!! Yummy
nicely displayed plates and friendly staff. the double deck pancakes were really big so couldn’t finish it although there were three of us. enjoyed other dishes and cocktails too! mine was a strawberry buck mock-tail, but if I go there again I would definitely order the espresso and banana cocktail that I just tried one sip.
The restaurant itself is nicely laid out and comfortable. Staff were good. We ordered the famous pancakes and they were huge. Massive portion with a lovely chocolate praline sauce and maple syrup. The pancakes themselves were fluffy and felt decadent. Overall pretty tasty.
When we had placed the order, there was a misunderstanding with the submission of the order. So, they kindly offered us drinks and dessert on the house. The food was amazing and full of flavours. I would highly recommend this place and if i could i would rate it higher than 5 stars!! Great place for brunch Excellent customer service.
Very good ‘Sunday’ brunch vibe indeed. Love how they do their eggs, value for what they offer . A really good option for medium-big groups as they have sharing friendly plates. We couldn’t book the place but decided to walk-in. Luckily we did get the table straightaway at 11am. There are quite a lot of other brunch choices in the hood, no harm trying walk-ins too if you couldn’t book it in advance like myself!
