Fantastic little find in Retford family ran with big smiles and fantastic fresh cooked food , centre of Retford and very accommodating, dine in or out , wheelchair access and takeaway , as a Chef I look at everything and I can not find 1 fault with this beautiful heart in the centre of the town.will definitely return. Nice place but looks old was really cold but they did bring a heater out could do with a renovation its actuly a Naples Indian restaurant they food was ok similar to Indian food with a little diffrence the starter was nice the curry was ok there was way to much cloves in the foodFood: 4/5
If you follow any of my reviews, you will know I love Indian cuisine/takeaways! This place was recommended to me while I was in the area. It did NOT disappoint! We had the Tikka Masala and madras... 2 pretty common dishes... but my gosh, were they better than what I have at home! The gentleman on the phone was polite... the food came fast and was hot/fresh. It was top-notch What was crazy was that it was such good value for money! In the North West where I am from, the prices are crazy and the food is good... but not this nice! Thank you, and if I'm ever here again, I will be back... but as don't leave yet I may get another order in!

Absolutely gorgeous dinner but what really took my breath away is the amazing service by Arsana spelling may be wrong. She was amazing and explained to us they’re a family run business and have been open for thirteen years. I can’t speak to the take away experience however if you’re looking for a nice Indian dine in experience in Retford this is unequivocally the place for you.
I really didn’t enjoy any part of this meal at all. The rice was flavourless and the korma didn’t even taste like korma, it was a weird flavour and the chicken tasted cheap. The Keema Naan was horrific I couldn’t even finish it, it had like a lamb paste and stunk compared to other ones I have had from elsewhere, the onion bhajis were okay, just crumbled and fell apart, didn’t keep their shape which made it difficult to enjoy. Really wish I could’ve got a refund on this because it feels like a huge waste of money.
Ordered a take away from Gurkha. Ordered a lamb rogan Josh, special rice and Gurkha remix. All very nice. The lamb rogan Josh when delivered was chicken. But the flavour was lovely. Despite them getting the meat wrong, I would definitely still order from Gurkha again.
Average chicken biriyani, not an authentic south Indian one. Large portion. Not recommended to mix up the biryani with the sauce. Tasting sauce itself would be better. The ginger flavour was highly sensitive in Biriyani. People at the counter were friendly.
Really friendly staff, they always go that extra mile and provide excellent service. The food is amazing!Recommended dishesMix Starter
