Here for Glasonbarry tribute festival. Good set up. Some great bands. Saturday ELO and Queen on last were fantastic. £20 for 18 vouchers.4 vouchers a pint. Lots of food stalls.
Lovely early morning walk and play with my 5 yo. The whole park was very well kept and I did a spot of geocaching while son was playing on the play area. Only disappointment was the lack of open toilets at that time in the morning
Open space.park, tennis, toilets with fountain for filling your water bottles also bowls club
First visit to park lovely ground with small safe enclosed playground. Well maintained flowerbeds. Tennis courts and plans for new coffee shop imminent. Definitely worth a visit
Nice park, several entrances, enough benches with some covered. Toilets and a bowl for dogs usually present.
It's a lovely open park. However of you have children the children's park is dated and has some not so safe activities some swings are really rusted and poorly maintained. There are quite a few potholes in the tarmaced walkways! Good for kite flying!
A great park, lovely open space for walking the dog. With a little play park for the kids. Also has tennis courts that are maintained to a good standard. Public toilets available too.
Nothing special. The playground is a disgrace tbh. A simple walk through for dogs and events . Like I said, nothing special
Well kept park, my favourite in Barry, it has a big open field where dogs can be exercised off their leads, shaded walks through the trees, fenced children's play area, gardens, tennis courts and a bowling green. A new development is an AR tree trail. Community events take place here throughout the summer - the Scout and Guide fete and Glastonbarry music festival - and while there could be a few more benches at the bottom end of the park, there's plenty of seating at the top of the field. One thing that would be useful is a combined water fountain and dog drinking fountain similar to the one at Victoria Park in Barry.
Lots of open space as well as the play area. Toilets clean and tidy. Most importantly these days: plenty of space for free parking around the outside of the park with a number of entry gates so not far to walk.
