I have to say I’m exceptionally disappointed by the Initial response from this business. 18 months ago due to a couple of traumas to my body my hair had to be completely cut off as it was dying. I was devastated. At last it has finally started to grow but I wanted someone who was experienced and whom I could trust to advise me on the best way forward to encourage growth, what products to use, colours, cut etc. I emailed Rob which is a contact option on the website asking if I could book a session with him and explained I just needed some understanding, bit of empathy and professional advice on how I can help regain my hair health and how to proceed. I got no reply for 5 days. I am currently in Spain for health reasons so couldn’t pop in and as I don’t know what I need on my hair I couldn’t just book standard slots. I wanted to make an advanced appointment for a month’s time. I sent a second email asking if the email had been received and a day later got a standard impersonal email submissively berating me for emailing in and that I should book what colours, cut and service I want on the app and to pop in for a patch test. Bit too far from Spain but hey ho. Needless to say I just wanted a bit of support and the chance to book a slot with a professional who could advise me on the best way forward now my hair has finally gained some strength. I sent an email back saying I didn’t really know what to book, that’s why I asked for a one to one consultation and that I would pop in on my return. I got no reply at all. I then thought actually no, I won’t pop in, if you can’t be bothered to help someone who needs advice then forget it. I will not be going to this salon as if they can’t extend a couple of words of understanding, or want to help with advice and a way to go forward or honour a one to one without using an app then I’ll find elsewhere. Just a thought, if you don’t like people emailing you, take that option off. Really not impressed.

I got my hair colored at Roma salon. Best experience, the staff there is amazing and so welcoming. They did a great job with my hair. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Visiting Torquay for a few days, made an appointment and Rob restyled my hair which I love he did a fantastic job and I would recommend this salon to anyone.ServicesHairstyling
Been to a lot of barbers and stylists but the experience here was quite possibly the worst. Surprised to see a 4.5 star rating. Rob ignored my preferences as a client, telling me he knew what I wanted. Didnt seek feedback during the haircut. When I suggested something at the end of the haircut, the reaction I got was surprising, ‘Are you actually telling me how to do my job?’ The haircut us mediocre at best but he had the decency to not charge me for it. For that I give it 2 stars.
I cannot recommend this salon highly enough. I booked Rob for my first visit here, and I certainly put him to the test. It's fair to say what I wanted to achieve wasn't an easy job.... I booked the appointment some way in advance, in an attempt to make myself feel more optimistic after a disastrous cut I'd had 2 weeks before. It was pretty traumatic for me as I'd had the VERY long hair I've had for 20 years cut off, and suffice to say what I ended up with bore no resemblance to what I'd requested. It was significantly shorter and had a lot of even shorter layers! I completely hated the look, to the point I felt uncomfortable being seen without a hat that covered all of it it was too short to be able to put it up in any way!. Upon hearing my predicament, Rob invited me down for an initial consultation - just to make sure my expectations were in some way achievable, I think. I was literally counting down the weeks until the appointment, although wary of putting too much hope in it as, although I'd allowed some time for it to grow, I realised some of the odd layers/parts of the previous cut were going to restrict what could be done. Well, what can I say - Rob is a miracle worker! I can honestly say that what he managed to achieve was the best haircut I've ever had! I love the style and the look so much that I am not at all sure right now if I will even grow it out to what I'd originally intended. It is versatile, stylish and, more importantly for a lady of my age, takes at least 10 years off me. I was practically bouncing all the way home, and it couldn't have come at a better time with a painfully significant birthday looming next week!!! The icing on the cake was that all the staff there were lovely, genuine people. Rob is a great guy, so no hardship chatting for half an hour while he worked his magic, and the rest of his team were really friendly and interested too.... All in all, if I could give 10 stars, I would. Thanks to you all!!!
Kirsty is friendly, listens to what you want and always achieves it! The salon has a great atmosphere! Super great for anyone anxious about visiting the hairdressers!
My daughter had a total restyle with layers and texture. It looks great and the whole experience was professional and friendly. Thanks very much, her hair looks great :
