Great seafood. We went for a generous small plate of cold seafood and large plates for the main. Well presented, gorgeously cooked.

Whilst the food certainly looked appealing and having had thebplatter was a considerable plate full, there are issues :  Waiting staff aloof and not very attentive Toilets filthy : floors not cleaned, holes in walls ... Prawns, cockles and muscles were not cleaned out ... I had to pull out the prawn digestive/poop tracts myself  ... Cutlery had to be wiped down by me before use although it had been through a dishwasher it hasn't been wiped or polished up afterwards ... No further offer of napkins not even the cheap paper ones they serve up to start with. THIS despite the meal being manually requisite and requiring regular hand wiping... No cloth served with wine in an ice bucket so had to use original paper napkins to stop drips all over the table... I don't understand the hoarding round the bar when you can hear every word anyway unless staff were doing other things they shouldn't be... The tiramisu in no size shape or form is tiramisu although it tasted of coffee... Which was odd because there was NO tea or coffee available as the machine was broken .... Apparently it seems the ONLY source of hot water in the restaurant or kitchen was the water feom the machine frankly unbelievable that they can't boil a kettle or boil water in a saucepan which also meant including order an Irish coffee to finish my meal.  Overall it was disappointing as I had waited a while and eaten at other Suffolk eateries that had offered better service and food for a lesser price tag ...  If service and food had been as the price tag suggests I would have been more than happy.  Not sure I'll be eating here again at any time soon ... if at all ...  That said I did like the views before dark and the shellfish bucket lampshades ... That was an inspired touch

After several weeks absence nice to visit again good menu and great fir just a drink in the sun . Beach & Sea views . Outside sitting area great when sun setting. I had Chowder good with sophisticated bread acomniment. Varid menu or just have a drink. Chill put. Recommend a visit

I would like to say I've even say at a table. However both times I've been before the closing time we have been told the chef doesn't want to cook. For example today we walked in at 7:15...it states that they are open till 9. Asked for a table of 5 including 2 kids and told that the chef doesn't want to cook anymore as he is by himself. Well boo hoo. Hope you fail as a business.

Excellent food not cheap but well presented. Bar staff friendly. Worth the money.
