Our outdoor deck and seafood restaurant overlooks the ocean and is right next door to the National Marine Aquarium where you can see fish from all over the world and learn about their great work preserving and managing our marine environment. The famous Mayflower Steps are right next door and Plymouth fish market is just feet away from Rockfish so you can watch the fishing boats land, whilst you're enjoying your seafood. Outside on our deck we have plenty of space for you to enjoy fresh local seafood and beers with a view."

Went for lunch while visiting family. They selected it saying they had great seafood. There was a total of 7 of us plus kids. It wasn't very busy and service was decent although our server was very new and made several mistakes on our order. But the senior server corrected, apologized and didn't charge us. Our server was definitely trying and with time will do well. We had an assortment of appetizers and fish main courses. Overall the food was good, fresh and well prepared. They have an extensive selection of fish although the availability changes depending on the catches that week. Can't speak to the value as we were treated by family but it was definitely an enjoyable lunch and if we had the opportunity to go back we would.
Nice lunch, expensive fish and chips. Staff helpful and attentive. Food very nice. Recommend the Skippers brew and I'm not really a tea drinker. Nice view. Pleasant atmosphere. probably go back.
The service, atmosphere and quality of food plus general cleanliness of the restaurant and toilets was very good at the Rockfish Plymouth restaurant. My brother in law and I felt the food was well priced for the quality of it, and the portion size was just right. It's my second time to a Rockfish restaurant this year first being in Dartmouth, who catered for me and my 7yr old daughter very well. I will 100% be returning.
Attended for our son's graduation and a memorable birthday. Food was absolutely fantastic. THE best fish and chips without hesitation. Serve was spot on and nothing was too much for our great hostess. Highly recommended and would happily return. Looking forward to our next visit.Food: 5/5
Went to the Sardine bar attached to the restaurant. Cannot recommend enough - £5 fish and chips before 6pm this summer, amazing! Added bonus of great views.
Very nice food and staff! When we ordered desert I asked if it's possible to have a candle or something similar because it was my boyfriend's birthday and they came through! Also the best seafood I had in the UK by far

Wow The BEST FISH and chips I've ever had, Andy the waiter was very friendly and informative. The whitebait was amazing and super fresh. The Batter was really light and crispy and not greasy. Well worth the price and we can't wait to come back again.
We used Plymouth as a bookend destination when visiting family in Cornwall and visited Rockfish 3 times in 7 days, it’s that good! Fresh sea food treated brilliantly by the chefs and staff, washed down with good drinks, excellent service and fair prices. Can’t fault it!
Two words... Fresh and tasty... The food was divine, fresh as can be at a reasonable price. The team was polite and helpful. There was live music...wow. It made for a great experience.
