I'd forgotten how good this place is. Honestly amazing. I used to live on the same road as these guys, just a few houses up, as a student. So used to go often. I remember enjoying it. So when I was out in my van and needed to stop for some laundry, I remembered the launderette opposite and this chippy / kebab shop. I called in and asked for a mixed kebab and briefly chatted to the gents I recognized behind the counter. It must be almost 10 years. So as my kebab is being done. I ask to have a battered sausage thrown in. Now id forgot these legends are so generous. So I got my lovely fresh, not greasy kebab with a load of nice salad and a scoop of chips. Plus this sausage in a separate wrap of paper with another massive scoop of chips. It was all super fresh and I'd not paid a penny for any chips. The chippy opposite me at home charges me a few quid for a scoop of chips. You wait ages and your lucky if they are fresh or theyve changed the oil. Not here. These guys are brilliant. If you are near by, youve got to pop in and try out their food. You won't regret it.

Local and family run business. This take away is the wife and I's treat when we argue who is doing the cooking. Really tasty take away and never disappoint. Very friendly staff and always enjoy chatting to them.

Foods always been cooked, delicious and well priced. One of the best fish and chips to take away. I don't like pizza but theirs is delicious Kid-friendliness: Good portions of kids meals.
Their food was delicious as always, great quality staff is very friendly, polite always, never disappointed. I would recommend them to everyone I just took my daughter and her friends to there and all of them loved the food thank you for their hard work! Today was yummy again, ask always huge double burgers with salad and chips
St Jude Grill is a brilliant fast moving takeaway,, witch you can order to fish and chips to pizza to an Meany other foods,, and very good service,, an mouth watering hot food try it yourself thank you.
You know when you find a place that is good, but you don’t want to share it because it will become busy? Well this is the best take away in Plymouth and it serves everything, the prices are cheap and the portions are good, plus when your normal chippy is shut at around 9:30pm this place is open till 11pm Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed and Thurs and 12am Fri and Sat. You tell me a chippy open till those hours. The staff are always friendly and get you seen to as quick as possible. The only downside is parking, but it’s worth finding a parking space nearby and walk a short distance. This place deserves 5*.
