I very rarely and seldom indulge in the Great British Seaside Classic nowadays, partly because I can't trust the establishmentfood hygiene, changing oil and the fact it is deep fried food yet managed to persuade myself with a fish & chip craving having previously fasted with no food in 26 hours that day. My seaside treat meal was scrumptiously tasty and cooked to perfection, thanks guys!
Our family of four had a lovely meal, even though only two members loved seafood. Fresh, uncomplicated and cooked in a manner that one can actually appreciate the taste of the fish -- we had the red mullet, plaice, and stingray. Unlimited portions of fries always welcomed!
The service is 5 STARS - the staff team is knowledgeable, friendly and very attentive. The toilets were cleaned to a high standard and had hand wash and cream. Fresh fish, very tasty food. Unlimited chips option I'm not a big fan of chips and these were actually really nice Local juice and local beer were a plus! Definitely recommend this restaurant if you are near by! Also great location sea front. Thank you everyone!
We had dinner here on holiday with our small dog. The service from our lovely Spanish waitress and the restaurant in general were excellent and it was very clean inside too. The fish, chips and drinks lovely wine! were all delicious. Freshly caught fish of the day and the scallops were amazing! Great that is is dog friendly too. We highly recommend!
Quick lunch. Had the local cider and Lager both very good. Calamari and white bait for starters both very nice. Haddock for mains very lightly battered and full of flavour. Decor around the place is epic worth a lunch out
From the moment we walked through the door the service was perfect; attentive without being intrusive. Hannah made us feel very welcome and explained how the menu worked clearly including which fish were available that day. We came for my mum’s birthday lunch and everyone left extremely happy with their meals. I had the Dover sole which was delicious, the best I have had, my cousin said the same about the Plaice. And my mum tried Gurnard for the first time and was very impressed with how good it tasted. We shared starters including oysters & the scallops; fresh & a good choice to wet the appetite.
What a way to celebrate my milestone Birthday and last evening of our holiday. The atmosphere, staff and food were all amazing, we couldn't fault it. Strongly recommend a visit, wish we had visited before as would have definately eaten there again, so much choice. Thank you Rockfish
Lovely members of staff, always checking on how we’re doing. Delicious food with fancy napkins.Overlooking the beach and fun fair. Food doesn’t take long, kids get entertained with fantastic fun pack. —Reviewed by my 8-year-old daughter
The selection board is fabulous! Hot tip - if you’re going for the best fish and chips south of England though, grab it with their curry sauce. You’ll thank me later haha!
Great staff, great food, great attention to detail how many non Michelin starred restaurants do you see wearing gloves while polishing cutlery and glasses?!. Just beware the early closing / last order time.
