We've visited Crustacean several times over the years and it's always impeccable, and the owner Mehdi and his staff are always so welcoming and helpful. Not a huge menu, but everything always fresh and cooked to perfection. Not a single closed mussel in my generous portion, sea bass cooked to perfection with a crispy skin. Highly recommend!
We had an early dinner at Crustacean and it was a complete delicacy. We ordered the oven roasted cod and pan fried sea bass which were both full of flavor. A must try restaurant when visiting Weymouth.
The food was good in general. One of the mains we took though was dry and kinda blund. The atmosphere was a bit dark and did not quite met our expectations. Maybe that is just our feeling. The place was full and required a booking. The seafood linguine and the scallops along with the dusted calamari was very good, if not excellent. It's one of the oldest places in the city, and worths a try.
Incredible food, perfectly cooked, so fresh, not too expensive by a London standards at least dunno what weymouth thinks!, great service. Tables arrangement very spacious which made a decadent change from restaurants frequent attempt to ram as many tables as possible into their space. Solid wine menu, bit of a lack of beer but judging by the supermarkets in Weymouth, good beer hasn't arrived here yet so can't blame the restaurant! Cannot fault the place at all. Perfect meal.
We are satisfied with all dishes. Quantity and quality are very nice Our family usually eat too much but we are fully eating here.
If you enjoy seafood, this is the place to go! When walking in from the street the interior design makes you feel like your no longer in Weymouth. We had the seafood platter, amazing! So much variety of seafood to enjoy. The cheese sauce was delicious. The staff looked after us to a very high standard throughout the whole evening. Can't wait to go back!
Amazing food, lovely staff and a beautiful, modern restaurant. This is very expensive, but it isn't your normal restaurant, fantastic quality and amazing food. I had scallops followed by surf and turf fillet steak and lobster. Everything was fantastic!
Very clean interior, great food with an excellent presentation that could easily be Michelin star quality. The waiters were well mannered, polite and always wanted to do the small things to help, nothing was too much to ask. I Would recommend it to others and most definitely come again.
Great place. Amazing food and service. Our first visit, but not our last. We had a lovely meal hear and the service from the staff was excellent. Would highly recommend it. The food is amazing and reasonably priced for the quality of the food and level of service.
This restaurant came recommended. Service excellent and very nice restaurant and setting. We chose Pear and walnut with Roquefort cheese and Tomato soup to start, this was a mistake. We were very disappointed in these starter's.My pear was very hot and seemed to have been microwaved,it lacked finnesse and taste and no thought went into it. The soup was bland. I don't eat fish and my husband does but didn't want to overdose on fish as he was having it as a main. I think the seafood options would have been a better choice. I was then worried about what the mains would be like. I had a rack of lamb on mashed potatoes with spring onions and green beans, cabbage and my husband had seafood linguine. Well, what can I say other than these were amazing. The lamb was cooked perfectly,it was very tender and tasty with an abundance of mash. Vegetable's were cooked perfectly. Possibly the best lamb I have eaten. The linguine was also an amazing, lots of tasty and perfectly cooked seafood and pasta cooked to perfection. They had totally redeemed themselves. Would I return?, Definitely but probably pass on those starter's. Not cheap but well worth the money.
