I recently had my Birthday party booked here, and I couldn’t recommend the pub enough staff are amazing they went above and beyond to make sure everything was set up and ready for my guests to arrive. The buffet that was served was delicious and plenty to go around! Overall 10/10 amazing! Definitely recommend. Will be back very soon
Really cosy, friendly pub. We both enjoyed the poached cod and the stilton mushrooms were delicious. We stayed overnight in our camper so we could have a drink. Recommended!!
Went tonight and the food was really good. But £4 for a pint of coke? It was £20 just in drinks and early £80 for a family or 5. Seemed like alot for just a pub restaurant. Again food was good but not even portions for what you pay.
Food was cooked fresh. Burgers were proper beef patties and juicy. Onions rings were cooked to my liking. Not burnt in majority of restaurants. Chips tasty. Situated in a rural area with a good view. My score is 4.5 stars. Reasonable price for top quality food.
Food was fresh and tasted good staff were friendly. I've only gave 4 stars because I ordered the burger and it came with few chips and the smallest tiny cup of coleslaw. So was still hungry when i left. The most thing that shocked me was £4 for a coke! Apart from that everything was tasty and good.

A friend and I visited last week, reliving the days we spent in Tockholes in the 1970s with a departed friend who lived there, and his parents who lived in the village for 40 years. A lovely welcome, and nice food too. Nice to talk to Leah, and I hope we didn't keep her from her work too long!
Great views from the beer Garden at the side of the pub with a small park for the kids to play as you have a pint were you can keep an eye on them.
Had a meal here recently and it was absolutely gorgeous. Dog friendly. Nice and clean facilities and very welcoming staff.
Went for our Christmas meal. A good selection and priced well. The meal was lovely but a little peppery for several of the guests. The mains choices if you went just for a meal look very interesting varied and well priced. I highly recommend the restaurant and the Christmas meal we had was overall the best I've had in a few years.
