Booked the Robin Hood for a birthday roast after hearing great things about the place and the roast dinner and it did not disappoint! The place itself is lovely, the service from the staff is amazing - nothing is too much trouble, attentive and they are naturals at giving genuinely great customer service. And the place has a lovely chilled vibe which is always a bonus- even though the place was really busy the staff did not let it show. The food itself definitely lived up to the reputation its been given. Best cauliflower cheese I have ever tasted and the chocolate brownie was 10/10. Great value for money on the portion size too and the roast is served with red cabbage which is always a winner for me! Would definitely recommend if you want a nice place to go for a great Sunday roast.

Good location opposite Pennington Flash Country Park. Great pub and service with a very good menu. All food homemade. Recommend the pepper chicken and the chicken curry. Good offers available too. Recommend a walk around the pretty Country Park and then a lovely lunch or evening meal here. Perfect day!

I had a nice meal and the homemade chips were delicious. My partner had a "10 oz" gammon which looked more like 6oz. The vegetarian in our party had what looked like pasta swimming in sickly cheese sauce with some veg. The decor is dated and the carpet grubby and the place needs a refurb. I won't rush back.

Very nice Mothers day lunch.... Lovely food... Staff were really nice... Defo worth a visit!!! Will go again! Xx

Good Food with Friendly Staff. A place where you can have a quiet drink with friends in a more traditional pub setting. Nice big outdoor beer garden for the warmer months.
