This is one of Wetherspoons' more interesting outlets - an opera house converted into a pub. It still has the dress and upper circles, as well as boxes and a stage. I'm told they still stage operas there. I happened to be in the area at the time so popped in during the day. I enjoyed the experience.

Wetherspoon's prices are very reasonable and nice food too. The ambience of sitting in this beautiful former theatre is just great.

A nice Weatherspoons pub. Good food choice. Nice range of good (and inexpensive) beer. Friendly bouncers who keep things straight on a Friday and Saturday night just in case anyone gets too rowdy. Shame they have shaken up the breakfast menu plus coffee now just self serve from machine - not as good as they used to serve from behind the bar.

Amazing building. Staff are always friendly and happy. Food comes quickly and is always tasty. Been here so many times.
