Have visited this place many times. Food is excellent and prices reasonable. Occasionally have long wait times due to volume of guests etc but always very courteous and respectful. They all try to give excellent service. Excellent value for money and the 'Double dip" steak on a skillet with side of mushrooms in pepper sauce is to die for. Try going around 7.30pm. Then starting to quieten down a bit.. Great easy eating with some seating booths. Always make a fuss of special occasions for youngsters.

Orders two mixed grills waited 45 minutes mine was cooked with the chicken nearly raw My wife's chicken and steak nearly raw sent steak back as this is the best bit for me but waited over 20 mins never came as we walked out it came but we were at the exit door so been there many times live local so handy and price is great but our last time I want to enjoy my Sunday lunch

Steak was not available the day I went? How that works I don't know.. Ordered steak and ale pie dry and horrible, chips were like mush.... Only taken approximately 5 minutes to get my food to me from ordering at the bar to it being on the table. Brilliant you might say? More like leftovers or microwave food. Will not be going back. Would not recommend even for a quick snack. B

Always busy, incredible value non fussy pub food, apparently the steaks are fab... I'm veggie, so can't personally comment, but for a none meat eater, there are still limited options, but given this is essentially a steak house, I wouldn't expect any different. They know what they're good at and stick to it.

Excellent food and service and the atmosphere is brilliant. This is a great place to take the family for a nice meal on a Sunday afternoon or to go out for someone's birthday. My only issue was that it is one of those places that do the challenge meals, which is great, but when I went and did the challenge, they could not deliver on the certificate or picture on the wall. Not a big thing, but still, something you might expect better of them for. But other than that I thought they were brilliant.
