This park is very big and very hilly but there are lots of places for the kids to run around in the woods and play on the netting in the trees. The 4d cinema was good but does take a bit of time to get into. There are nice walks around this park with places to eat, drink, and relax. The only thing that was frustrating for me was paying extra for the toboggan run. Just put a £1 extra on the entrance price....... To make it more frustrating after queuing for a while, you then see a sign that you have to pay by card. Move the sign or just make it free...
Fun day out for families. Pack a picnic and a ball, let the kids run around, and burn off energy. Live music all day long. Lots to do for the kids. Unfortunately, the wind picked up, so the air balloons could not take off, and on returning the following night, only the baskets were there. The fireworks display was in tune with the music as we're the air balloon baskets releasing gas with bursts of flames. It's really lovely to see. The 7 day return tickets make this a cheap day out for families. Playground: Play areas for kids with a tree top walk that is every kids dream. Picnic area: A large picnic area in front of the live music stage. Plenty of space for everyone.
First time visiting Robin Hill and we chose to go for the night glow event. Was not disappointed!! We had great fun early evening exploring some of the park attractions with the kids climbing through tree tops and racing down the toboggan run £1.50 extra charge per ride but worth it. Then as the sun set the balloons were filled while we were entertained by a great band before the light show started. Absolutely stunning The cherry on the top is that our passes allow us to return for 7 days so we can come back in the day to try more attractions. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are very welcome. Picnic area: Lots of grass areas to sit and eat with a good few picnic tables around. I would suggest bringing a blanket.
Robin Hill was a bit more suitable for our two kids 11 & 14 than Blackgang Chine. The rope adventure playgrounds were really good and we all enjoyed the bird displays. The two guys who ran the displays gave a great presentation and were very professional. The birds were spectacular. The kids loved the tobogganing although they just managed to make the day pass worth while as the queue did get a bit long during the middle part of the day. Tobogganing was £1.50 each, day pass was £5 3-7 yrs and £10 for adults and children 8 years and over. It was a nice walk around the grounds and there are plenty of places to get drinks, snacks and use the toilets. The staff were all very helpful, polite and friendly. There are some steep paths and a few stairs in places to bear in mind. We enjoyed it and thought the joint ticket with Blackgang Chine was value for money.
Visited on a Wednesday Was nice and quiet so we got the most out of all the activities. The climbing frames are great for kids and adults the big nets are awesome. The tobogganing was great. Lost my mobile but had it returned and staff on the day were super helpful and was able to get my phone back to me! The falconry is a welcome addition and have alot of amazing birds on display. The Japanese style garden and the ambient music playing brings a sense of calm!
It's a great place to go with the family. Lots to do and see. you can easily lose a whole day walking around if the weather is nice. Overall the staff were friendly and we had no issues
This is a truly wonderful place to visit with amazing activities for kids and some fabulous gardens. We couldn't have had a better day and out group is ages between 3 and 69 and everyone had a great time on the play equipment and the tabogon. 4d cinema was a big hit too
Where to start?! Initially the entrance fee seems expensive, however, there is so much to do and you can return free for the next 7 days! There’s something for everyone, the new falconry centre is beautiful, my 5 year old was so happy with literally everything! The toboggan run is a lot of fun, you do have to pay a tiny bit extra each time you ride but it’s no issue. So many different play parks, huge slides, treetop walks and Skynets. We also loved having the tractor ride. Once you’ve paid the entrance fee, you don’t have to spend a penny more if you don’t want to. We took our own picnic but purchased some slushies on the way round. So much space for the children to run around. The oriental garden and the oasis are stunning. We didn’t get to try the 4D cinema this time but we will definitely be back and 100% recommend this place to all ages!
A great day out for the family. Lots of attractions for all ages. Free returns for a week with the standard adult ticket making the price better value. Playground: A variety of playgrounds Picnic area: Plenty of picnic areas
Lovely little mini adventure park for young children. Highlight was the toboggan ride, which we did multiple times. Food was good if a little pricey. Gardens were also beautiful and well maintained. Went on a day when there weren't many of the extra actives on. Plenty of adventure playground, tree trails, climbing nets.
