Sincere thanks to a great team of foreman Gary, James and Nick for such an excellent job handling our recent move and making it as pleasant and stress-free as possible. Over the last eleven years we have been customers of yours on two previous occasions and it was those two first class experiences that led us, without hesitation, to immediately book this company again for another move. 

The packing day was handled brilliantly and we were consulted at all times regarding how we wanted groups of items packed and separated etc. Everything was carefully handled and packed and nothing was too much trouble for the whole team.

On moving day the three men worked tirelessly and had us completely packed in plenty of time. They even willingly managed to handle a heavy hen coup over a high fence, as it would not fit through our back gate! Then, when there was an unexpected delay from further down ‘the chain’ which delayed the start of unloading,  the team patiently waited and then worked on regardless of the late finish it made for them. They even put the garden furniture, plants, pots and ornaments in place for us!

Everything was handled professionally, in good spirit, with humour, and willingness. Please pass on our sincere thanks to the team for all the effort they really made to make our house move as pleasant and successful as possible.

We have absolutely no hesitation in giving Robert Draper Removals the highest possible recommendation to anyone who seeks excellent first class professional service and value.  We would never use anyone else but this friendly, local, family-run removal company.

We have now made four moves in fifteen years, all most efficiently performed by Robert Draper Ltd. Among the most impressive aspects have been the unfailing professionalism of the team, their hard work, the careful packing (no breakages), the unfailing politeness and good humour.  It’s reassuring to see the same faces on successive moves, testimony to the loyalty generated by this wonderful local family firm. We definitely recommend them.

Our house move was quite complicated necessitating transfer of items to the big furniture van using a small one at our old house. The three guys packed everything meticulously and left on Friday afternoon. We drove to our new house 300 miles away in driving snow over the weekend. The big truck arrived on Monday having dropped off items with a relative and others at a storage unit. Then they delivered some of our possessions to us before settling down for the night. The temperature was minus 6. They completed the unloading next morning - everything to the right rooms and with no breakages or damage. Our grandfather clock had been dismantled, the pendulum carefully strapped to a broom stick, and was quickly re-assembled and is now ticking away happily. The move had gone perfectly and we would happily recommend Drapers to move you at any time. Thanks lads. Martin and Susan Ingall, Teesdale.

The timing and execution of our move was carried out efficiently and effectively particularly as it was a move across the country.  At each stage of the move the houses were left clean and tidy. We would be happy to use Robert Draper for any future moves.
