Lovely sunshine today, no wind to speak of just right for a stroll in the fresh air. Clean paths to walk on, bandstand not in use not many children in the play area. The ducks seemed happy on the river. After a circular stroll had a fresh hot coffee and scone in the cafe and a quick look round the museum. New display opening on Saturday. A very pleasant afternoon. I will be back.

Nice place to relax. Has a small play area for children. Lack of public facilities means you have to go to the museum if you need the toilet, hence only 3 stars.

Lovely greenery . A nice stream to walk beside . A small play area for kids . Wonderful to go out for a short stroll .

Good green space to walk through into town. Maintained well against barrage of litter.

A great public park, connected to both the George Eliot memorial gardens and the Pingles leisure centre / running track. Great for families, and with a museum and tea room. Well worth a visit. *smiles*
