The upper deck and the ramp leading to it are metal and therefore slippery even when it isn't icy. The payment machines are in the open air, despite the fact that most of the parking is under cover. They are also NOT operated by Network Rail, are over-complicated and were not working on my last visit, necessitating a lengthy phone call.
Nuneaton station car park, next to the station. Very convenient, although the price paid via your phone is not the one displayed unless you are prepared to read all the small print T & C's. Different prices appear on the website to the display board at the station. You only know what you have paid via your phone when the automated response advises you, which is when you realise it's not the price advertised. I would prefer it if the car park ownership and charges were under the control of the station, but the outsourcing of this service is at the expense of transparency for the commuter. It's a captive market, but know I the true cost, I am aware for future parking. Choose your parking wisely and be aware of the small print.
Suited my requirements perfectly. Had to Park for a weekend,had no trouble finding a space. I was confident in the security & Nuneaton staff were happy to help me with any queries Only possible negative feedback is that I had to download the parking application & being a novice to such technology,that could've posed a problem All was satisfactory Thankyooooo Nuneaton
Get to park their before 8am otherwise it's full and you are unlikely to have a chance of finding a space. It's a chargeable location next to the station and a shopping complex monitoring by CCTV is in full operation. Parking is not cheap here but it's very well located for the station and shops.
Other than the 10 minute parking spaces you have to pay £5.90 to park. Which is ridiculous if the train is late or you get there early. There should be a reasonable 30 minute fee.
It's a, car park, what else can be said! I only use it to collect or drop off family and friends, and it does the job, although watch out for the over eager taxis that congregate in massive numbers at certain times.
pay online or pay coins at the car park, big enough with some parking covered. £6 all day on a saturday, a little confusing to get in and out though
You have to get there early otherwise there are no parking spaces left.
Nice and easy to park and grab a train
A bit over priced, convenient for the station, as you would expect!
